There's no guy I'd like to see as the Batch. I hope they cast someone new & "fresh".
i would LOVE someone new! i'm so tired of the recycling.

Anybody heard the back story on JP? They keep referring to his heart being broken and all he's been through, but I have never heard any more than that...maybe that's all we are going to know.
She is really transparent. She just wants to know if he's going to dump her too. She is the most insecure Bachelorette ever.
The guys should have asked each other, "Do you want to still be here?"![]()

i thought they were normally a week apart. i didn't think about Bachelor Pad though. i just thought maybe they knew this season was terrible and were trying to end the misery more quickly.
Oh, and did anyone else see the really bad acting she did with Ryan when he came to her room? I think she was tipped off ahead of time.
Finally got to watch it... kinda sorry I did now.
Insecure? Probably. Lame? Definitely!
I see the perfect ending to this show being a reverse Brad. Both guys say they're not interested in Ashley at the final rose ceremony.
Ashley: "Oh I love Ben and will pick him!"
Ben: "Sorry Ashley, I'm not into you so I'm leaving." (and there was great rejoicing)
Ashley (after crying for a while): "Well, now that I think of it, I really wanted JP so it's all good! I love JP and will pick him!"
JP: "Sorry Ashley, I'm not into you so I'm leaving." (again there was great rejoicing)
No kidding! Pull the bandaid off quick! Maybe it won't hurt so much. Oops, too late!
I read it more as, "Oh great, I booted this guy once and now I've got to do it all over again?"
After the show, does anyone else feel like they need a shower or something?![]()

Yes, and he was upset when she referred to both Ben and him as her "relationships." She is so clueless, she doesn't even notice his responses.
I actually think it's the other way around. With Ben, she has less uncomfortability with him. With J.P., he is her fantasy guy, but she keeps hammering him EVERY time they are together, as to how he can be sure he would stay with her. This is exactly how it will be if they are together. Every day wondering what he was doing and with whom and if/when he will leave. She will need CONSTANT reassurance from him all the time.
She also doesn't look into his eyes much when she's talking to him. She's either looking down or eating, or in the case of Bentley, using J.P. as her comfort cushion. She's still testing J.P. in a lot of ways. "Will you be there for me if I do this. . .?" "Will you be there for me when I tell you about Bentley? . . . When I tell you how Ryan was here?"
Have you notice the way she just blurts it out, very thoughtlessly, NOT in any way that is sensitive to how J.P. would feel hearing the news? All her uncomfortability is in how comfortable SHE feels at having to tell him. She is NEVER looking in his eyes to register how his eyes change.![]()
J.P. is so readable, but Ashley is not registering any of it.Whether she picks him or not, she is so wrong for HIM.
She is too emotionally immature, insecure and self-involved. The process of the show always makes the Bachelor(ette) even more self-involved & narcissistic by the end of the show.
And even though J.P. said he's not there for the competition, to beat the other guy - he is. It's down to the final two, and he wants to know if she will pick him. But, I think he already knows, nothing would last between them. He's already received too many red flags as to how she is. How she wouldn't be there for him.
I still thinks it's a toss up as to which one she will pick. She wants J.P. to be the one. But, her insecurities may get in the way. She may not think he will last, when, just as she did with Brad on their overnite date, she will do something to sabotage their relationship. She might, in that pea bran of hers, know that SHE doesn't have what it takes to make a relationship last between them.
With Ben, she doesn't have that. He just opened up to her, saying finally, he is open enough to really commit to someone & have a relationship. That's very appealing to her. It fills her insecurities. Ben actually has more of what it takes to last with her. He's more open & available to her. Whereas, J.P. is still guarded and she KNOWS it. That's one of the reasons she keeps hammering away at him, asking how he KNOWS he will stay. He doesn't know it. Not when she keeps blurping things like, "I preferred Bentley over you." If she wants more of a sure thing, she's better off picking Ben.
Although, I don't think either relationship will last.![]()
I've been on a self-imposed Bachelorette hiatus. Was this week the "test drive" overnight date week? Or is that next week?

I was wondering if she chooses JP, how she will explain this to him. She did mention "overnights" in a casual way to him at dinner. I didn't really see him react, except his eyes kind of changed.
What I see is that she is very passionate and comfortable with JP, and with Ben she is still a little guarded, it seems. Even what she wore with JP in the Fantasy Suite was "come and get me" instead of let's play in the pool.
I still don't see how she can sleep with 2 people on two nights in a row![]()

I've been on a self-imposed Bachelorette hiatus. Was this week the "test drive" overnight date week? Or is that next week?
It was this week and thanks be to God that one man refused to spend the night with her and left. To watch one young woman sleep with three different men in three nights...great tv for our daughters, eh? Glad she had a night to rest between all nighters.I've always hated that part of this show...wether they actually sleep together or not, it's pure sleaze.
STOP STOP YOU'RE KILLING ME!!!!
Shower? I need a sound BUTT whipping for spending minutes of my life on this nightmare. I finally watched the "after Prez" part last night and was morethan ever.
The promo for the Men Tell All was surprising. I FORGOT about all the guys because this season seemed 10 years long!!! Who remembers the drunk guy?![]()
I remember seeing the group and thinking WOW, what a good looking bunch of fellas to choose from! Of course a woman with her kind of insecurities would NEVER pick a winner, she needs someone to worship HER.
The sister shows us more about who she is. I'm willing to bet she's been brow beaten all her life by Ms. Tattoo, no wonder she's so unsure of herself.
As for Ben and JP, she could've gotten guys like that at the neighborhood coffee shop or library. I wish we didn't have to be dragged thru it, it was pitiful to watch.![]()

If you want to belly laugh, read the Bachelorette blog on Entertainment Weekly. She's HILARIOUS!!
Here's a snipet I copied re Constantine & the overnight dates:
Eventually, though, Constantine gives what may be the most honest, intelligent, grounded speech in the history of this ridiculous franchise. "I would want ideally for me to be madly, head-over-heels, 100 percent sure, ready to meet your father and say, 'I want to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage,' and say that with 110 percent confidence," he begins. "And I have too much respect for you, for myself, for my family, and ultimately your family also, to do anything but that. I'm sitting here now, like, thinking, I don't have that yet... This fantasy suite, I know what it means -- and I also know what it implies. And I knew if I got to this point and I wasn't in love with you, I wouldn't accept the fantasy suite... I'm not pretending, and I haven't pretended to begin with, and I don't want to start doing that now." OH MY GOD YOU GUYS HE TURNED DOWN THE FANTASY SUITE OUT OF RESPECT FOR THE BACHELORETTE! MY MIND IS OFFICIALLY BLOWN!! CONSTANTINE FOR THE NEXT BACHELOR!!
Is Ashley the youngest sister? I can't remember. Her self centered - "look at ME!" and cry-baby attitude makes me think she was the baby girl in the family and everyone moved heaven and earth to make life perfect - and then she went to dental school so she's even more special. I'll be the tattooed one is jealous![]()
(not spoken like an older sister or anything)
I'm just big into the birth order thing, so I'm always looking for that...
MY MIND IS OFFICIALLY BLOWN!! CONSTANTINE FOR THE NEXT BACHELOR!!
Ugh NO! He and Ben give me the heebies!![]()
They are alarmingly similar, for sure!
That gals blog is funny, though - she's saying much the same as we do here.

I thought for sure the tabloids would have unearthed the mystery woman by now and we'd have seen her all over the media telling her side of the story. Could it be that the mystery woman actually has class and wanted to remain private??

Yes, but after an hour with her, THEY would have gotten up & left.
J.P.would NOT have stayed through hearing "I had coffee with Bentley yesterday because I liked him more. But, I'm fine now, so I'm here with you."![]()
