May 23, 2011 - The UNOFFICIAL "The Bachelorette" - NO SPOILERS, please!

Well, J.P. did say to Ashley that he missed signs along the way that they weren't right for each other and that they wanted different things out of a relationship. I got the idea that she might have cheated on him, or just dumped him.

I, for one, am glad that he (& she) kept their past lives private & personal. Just because someone is on TV doesn't mean others have a right to all info about them. We don't know about the other guys pasts, the ones who left early. just because J.P. stayed longer doesn't mean the public should be privvy to his privates - err, private past.

I think it's classy that both J.P. & his ex have kept things private.

NOT Saying we NEED to know, they have just mentioned it soooooo many times that I thought maybe I missed something along the way.

Just a reminder folks. Tonight is the Bachelors (aka the lucky escapees) tell all. Monday night final rose where one lucky bachelor will not receive a rose.

TV Guide has it listed as on from 9-11 Pm EDT.
This had better be worth it. I'm moving True Blood to watch this.

(My new to me TV is missing the plug thingie in the back of the TV to watch one show while recording another. :headache: )

Here we go. :happytv: popcorn::

I can't believe Ashley saying "I really didn't see that side of Bentley???"

Honey, you were WARNED by Michelle Money, of all people. Instead of seeing it, you went a full 180 in the other direction. You didn't really QUESTION Bentley. Once you KNEW that possibility was there, you were attracted like a fly to a moth. :sad2:

Seeing that clip of Ryan getting dumped again is weird. He's acting so innocent & like a puppy dog, "You mean you don't want to come home and meet my family. . .???" He was so emotionally young, it's like he REALLY doesn't have much of any experience with women. Hence his fantasy life of how they would have been together. Creepy! :scared:

Wasn't that sad?!?! The shocked look on his face was priceless but then to hear him stammer out "you don't want to meet my family?" was crazy. He was 100% clueless, even in the middle of his solar panel seminar with Ashley, he was clueless. I sincerely hope he isn't the next bachelor. Please ABC, show us some mercy for pete's sake!

Ugh, Bentley is such a pita! He isn't even man enough to face everyone on the show after he humiliated Ashley and played the guys. He's a fool.

Great, Michelle Money is back. Lovely. :sad2:

Okay, I don't get this part. ALL the guys are acting like Bentley did something extra or different when he was with Ashley. That HE said or did something they didn't do. They ALL were trying to charm her and win her over and say the right things.

The only TWO differences were that yes, Bentley came from an insincere place about it, and secondly, Ashley was WARNED about his underlying motivations for being with her. SHE chose to ignore what she had been told. :sad2:

I remember author/lecturer/spiritual teacher, Marianne Williamson, a long time ago saying, "There are some women, that when you tell them NOT to go there, they just HAVE to put there hand in the fire." Ashley, to me seems one of them. It's like how some women are drawn to married men. The challenge of winning someone that they are told is off limits and can't/won't love them is am unconscious challenge to them.

Ugh, this Men Tell All episode is lame! Usually I'm interested to see/hear what they have to say but not this time. And what is this, a therapy session for Ashley with past bachelors/bachelorettes?? Jason, Deanna and Ali?? Weird.

I've been only watching loosely. Has Ashley said at all that she is finally with one of the guys? Every time I've seen her talk all she says is that she's HAPPY now and how it all was worth it.

I don't care what Extra! "leaked" earlier, I think she isn't with either guy.

Why isn't there even an "After the Final Rose" episode? Usually that's where the guy not chosen gets to confront the Bachelorette to get some closure. Maybe there is no show as there is no NEED to have one. :scratchin

We noticed she isn't wearing a ring, and when will they announce the batchelor?

They never wear the ring until the "After the Final Rose" episode where the guy officially puts it on her again.

did they talk to Constantine at all? i missed the beginning.

Ashley wears too much make-up. it was really obvious once Ali and Deanna were out there--they looked so natural and pretty.

I think more than ever now that Bentley was actually hired by the show to add some spice by his whole drama. A new twist on "The most unexpected Bachelorette ever!" Why else would the producers & Chris let him continue to be on the show when they saw his continual interviews saying his real feelings. The producers are responsible, ultimately for hand choosing each candidate for the Bachelor & Bachelorette. It's supposed to be a give that they try the best they can to choose someone RIGHT for them. They can't help when someone lies & comes on the show (like William) more to become famous. But when one person openly admits he's NOT there for the Bachelorette and continues to scheme, they leave him on the show? Chris never even addressed that point.

I think Bentley thought it was just a show. A very non-real "reality" show. He didn't realize the repercussions that would happen after the show aired and that he'd be getting threats in real life.

I also think he didn't appear on the show to defend himself because his contract with the show has a non-disclosure agreement in hit as to how and WHY he was hired. Now he is stuck with the reputation of being such a snake and CAN'T talk about it.

I think the producers hung him out to dry. After the whole Jason thing, dumping the gal he originally "chose" for another girl, to also be "The most unexpected Bachelor ever" show, :rolleyes1 they knew the reaction Bentley would get. They didn't care. Just like bringing Ryan back on the show in Fiji when they knew he didn't stand a chance, they didn't care how it affected the participants.

I wouldn't be surprised if in 10 years the lid is blown on all these non-real "reality TV" shows. Just like how the earliest TV game shows were actually rigged, telling the "winners" the answer ahead of time so that they would win, then congress stepped in and (I think) created a law against that, I think the whistle will be blown on these types of shows and they will have to admit what many of us suspect and they have to be called something like "scripted reality shows." They will have to have a disclaimer on at the end saying, "Some parts of the show have been pre-planned & scripted. Some actors have been hired along with real people."

At the end of the show they said to be sure and watch "After the Final Rose" tomorrow night after the Finale.
