I can't believe this is so soon....and darn it....I didn't lose any weight that I wanted too! Oh well! I am just ready to be on vacation!

There's a little time left. Maybe 3 pounds mini-shred? That would still leave a few extra around the middle for me--I'm a serious "apple." I have a stack of capris that I tried on last week and found don't fit--hips are fine, waistband results in huge spillover--I think they call that the "muffin-top." I finally gave in a bought the next size pants. Sigh.

I am planning to do my best to stick to the healthy menu. Is anyone else going to try that? Is it even possible? Might be more difficult than the shred!

Sounds like DCL has made up their minds... I'm glad you all are going because otherwise, I would probably try to get a refund on the cruise and go on the Glory the same week! (They are getting an Eastern for a Western...not the cruddy Bahamas!) Anyway, I guess I'd better look into Atlantis for us...

Congrats Andy and Jordan on the packing! I have a lot of stuff ready, but not everything... I did buy a little game called Bananagrams which is kind of like a scrabble. It might be fun on a sea day or a post-excursion afternoon! I plan to bring it and I think Adam is bringing his Texas Holdem set as well. (I like these kind of games, particularly with a drink in hand.)

My "flu" patient went home today! I think he practically RAN out of the hospital! After this fiasco, he probably won't ever walk into a hospital again...

Hopefully DCL will make a formal announcement soon! It would be nice to be able to make some plans in advance. I'm hoping to get my Nachi deposits back, but I figure Disney will have to formalize the announcement before they will issue a refund!

Looks like you are part of a large Virginia group--your family, I guess. I hope you all have a wonderful time. My family often does the extended family group vacation, too. (Just 4 of us, this time.) I value those big group vacations so much. Everytime I see a photo from one of these vacations I think about how wise we are to make time for each other. So, I hope yours is really special.

Thanks for the sweet reminder of why we are doing this trip in the first place. Tink113sMom (Carole) is my mom. There will be 10 of us going and this is the first trip we've all taken together in a while. We figured it will go great and we will have a blast or it wont. (That's why we all have our own rooms)


Just wanted to pass on a little shopping tip........
I stopped in at the Disney store to grab a few things for my nephews. I am putting together a surprise gift bag for them to waiting for them in their stateroom. (I'm going to have to steal their room key & get to the room before the boys do) Shouldn't be too hard since I'm sure they will head straight to the pool with their mom!
Anyway, while I was at the Disney store I found cute re-usable bags (think re-usable grocery bags) to put their gifts in. The woman a cash register said that they have hannah montana & camp rock bags marked down to $0.49!!! Too bad my nephews aren't into that so I stuck to the bag that features the new "Up" movie for $2.50!
Just thought I would pass it along in case anyone else was looking for something to put cruise goodies in.
I also got them flip-flops & sun glasses 2 for $6.00 to put int eh bag. Still working on other ideas....

If I have enough time, they will have a letter from Captain Mickey in the bag too.

That is the muffin top and I suffer from that problem myself. It sucks. I did not have the heart to try on any capris or shorts today. Must steel myself for that for tomorrow or something during the week.

I am going to be eating healthy as well....it just has to be that way. Or I will be huge by the end of the cruise like last time. We will be running on the cruise as well so maybe that will help.

I went to Atlantis and hated it in December - it was too big for us, the water was freezing cold (it was December) but still, not a fan, I did the Disney Aquaventure excursion....was $$$$. I am not sure what we would do this time...I was hoping for another beach day so I will have to do some research I guess. I hate that it is up in the air right now.

This sounds like a great gift for your nephews - how thoughtful of you!! I ended up ordering through Disney - flowers, birthday decorations and extravaganza package. Her birthday is the day after we leave so I think we will get a lot out of it. I think she will be thrilled with the flowers...her first ones.

I just wanted to say hello to all and twice it turned into an epistle because there is so much to say... Then TWICE it just disappeared, so I quit! This will be brief!

I cannot wait to meet all of you! For those that are already packed, you are unbelievable and I am totally impressed with your efficiency!

To those that are experiencing more than your usual share of challenges these days, just consider it to be a Murphy's Law sort of thing and keep smiling! We are going to be sailing "somewhere" this time in two weeks!

Thanks for all the comments and great entertainment on here too... I am a bit worried I will have withdrawal once the cruise is over!

Booked Happy Limo today. Wasn't thrilled with their pickup time so need to talk to Kym and see if that works. They said there is a lot of construction at the pier and they won't let anyone drop off passengers until 10:45 or later. Is that true?

V -- never seen the Notebook. I guess I should try to record it?

Finnish party was just odd. Leave it at that. Glad to be home and looking forward to a nice quiet evening here. I told Yoni I was going to start our packing list and he looked at me like I had 3 heads. If he only knew that some of you were PACKED!!!!

I was hoping to loose more weight before the trip but I'll have to settle for the 3 pounds I've lost in the last 10 days. I ordered some clothes that I was going to take with me but 1/2 the things don't fit. I'm returning them and have ordered something else which should be here later this week. By that time, I hope to have all the clothes washed and start to have the boys packed. I'd like to be packed by next weekend so I don't have to worry about it during the week.

I'm impressed with those who have already packed and are ready to go. Also, thanks for the tip to make sure we make copies of our passports and drivers licenses.

Well, off to do laundry and keep the boys entertained. Right now we're watching "Die Hard With A Vengence", or at least I am. The boys are playing their DS's.

Wonderful precious Alison (we will take care of you on the cruise you know considering you are more than just you!) -- yes, you need to be extra careful. Yoni FRIED last time we were on a cruise -- that sun is STRONG. I am hoping to be normal by then but will still use at least a 30 if not a 45. The doctor told us that we all need to lather up in the morning before we get dressed with a lotion and then touch up throughout the day with a spray. She said the spray was not good enough for the first time but on top of a lotion should work....

Well I'm SOOO glad I packed last night, because I got 3 orders this weekend to make FE's!! ACK! So I'll be busy with those.
Andy, enjoy your marathon...I need to start watching all my Disney movies to get ready.
I'm just So excited to go!!!!

As for tanning....Mati you cursed me!!! I went to a different salon today. I told the girl "Ultra Ruva" and she put me in a SUPER Ultra Ruva. I went full time and fried!!! I got out and was like Wow that bed was really hot! Then she told me that's what super's do to you. I was pissed! Oh well it'll help tan me faster, but give me 2 days of sensitive soft...as long as I'm ok to go on Tuesdays (Happy hour tanning= cheap!)

As for you muffin tops...yes I AM in that group. Not sure if my mom is so used to watching me be slim and trim for skating, but she's now taking to calling me a muffin top since I've gained some weight. UGH!! Haven't been able to shed any weight for the Cruise. (Only the weight I recently gained from my IV's which was 6 lbs! EWWW)
At least we'll have our morning walks!!

Hey guys! Just stopping by to say happy packing. I found my formal dress this weekend and I absolutely love it! It was super cheap and it fit's perfectly! I also checked on a few hotels this morning and it turns out that we are now leaving Wednesday instead of Thursday. I was able to get two hotels for the price of one since I'm using Holiday Inn points. That means we are starting our vacation a day early. I'm soooo excited and ready to go.

As for Utah, they have confirmed Swine Flu in Park City from a kid who went to Mexico for spring break. Like all other cases, he's already recovered from it.
We went to the store today to try to find travel size Purell (again!). It's sold out EVERYWHERE! Finally we found a massive bottle of it and decided it would do.

Since we can't find travel size, we bought a Travel size shampoo container and made our own Purell travel size. It'll pass airport inspection and works dandy. So if you can't find the mini's, make your own!
We also found Purell deep cleaning wipes!
