It's Saturday morning, cup of coffee in hand

(and no, nothing fancy in my coffee) and TWO things have me excited. One -- OMG, we are going to be getting on the boat in TWO weeks and Two -- the Swine flu news is becoming less and less front page news. I think it is going to be a FABULOUS day don't you???
OMG....Can it be??.....really??
Drumroll please
I am all packed!!!
WOO HOO!!! I'm so excited, I'm bouncing off the walls (too much Diet Coke). ......
I also FINALLY received the last part of my FE gifts....but I called the company and complained, so they sent me another shipment free! hehe

So you'll all get double a little surprise.
Ok Princess JorDan. Now how on earth is it possible for you to be PACKED so far in advance? I am still wearing half of the clothes we are taking and still need to buy the other half! I am totally and completely amazed and impressed by you

(and a little bit scared). Can you come help me please?
Also -- WOO HOO on the FE gifts. We like double the surprises!!!!
Have we decided on the "official" tastings day/time for our group? I spent this evening creating my Excel itinerary for each an really felt sad as I was working on the Saturday May 23rd worksheet

.
Ah my lovely Kathy -- you know, have been thinking about this all week long and have been distracted by that dang thing called work (ok, and maybe a little panicked with this flu thing but that is so yesterday's news

). I wish they would just give me the next 12 (did I say 12? Oh my!!!!) days off so I can pack and get ready. I will look at it today and send out proposed times. If our itinerary changes, we may end up with a different day for the second round of tastings but let's plan for nothing changing ok
I guess I'll have to be extra careful. I'm on prenatal vitamins that make you sensitive to the sun and suseptible to burning but I can't stop taking them. I guess I'll have to go with a higher SPH sun screen that I was planning. I may plan on taking a couple of different SPH and switch it up as needed.
Wonderful precious Alison (we will take care of you on the cruise you know considering you are more than just you!) -- yes, you need to be extra careful. Yoni FRIED last time we were on a cruise -- that sun is STRONG. I am hoping to be normal by then but will still use at least a 30 if not a 45. The doctor told us that we all need to lather up in the morning before we get dressed with a lotion and then touch up throughout the day with a spray. She said the spray was not good enough for the first time but on top of a lotion should work....
hi, just checking in from the airport! Flight seems to be on time and no one had sneezed on me so we're good to go!
Sonya, love, you should be landing about now right? I hope you can't answer that. We'll see you soon!
Oh Mati....I'm so sorry to hear about your burn

Please be careful and maybe us some aloe to help keep the heat down....Please take it easy so your good and heathly for us in 2 weeks!!
Beautiful Belinda -- thanks for the advice. It isn't that bad. Just a slight pink and really in the areas that aren't normally exposed to the sun

. I think I will wait until I get back from CA though to try again. Does anyone know -- can I use a lotion in the tanning bed? I know it sounds odd but I usually tan with an SPF15 on....
Jane, that sounds so wonderful!!!! I love getting pedi's!!! I'm going next week. Boy do I wish they had something like that here!!! I'm jealous
I need one too! Belinda, why don't you come on over and let's go together? (man, wish we were that close!) I think I will go to the local "shop" and get one done right before we leave. I did book hair & color for next week AND am going to see my eyebrow lady the Tuesday before we leave so I won't look like the UNIBROW woman from that commercial.
Yay Jordan. Now just come to Memphis and I will gladly hand over my packing to you. =)
Jamie darling...thank you for making me feel more normal. Sabrina still owes Jalen an email (and Faith) but it has been hard since the battery pooped out on my laptop. I'll make it a priority for this weekend.
There is not much more that has do be done on our end! Everything is packed, the car is ready for the trip, money is takin care of!! Not much more needed to be done! Ashley has 3 lists going and most of it has been checked off!! LOL
Hopefully
DCL Comes up with something exciting as far as replacement ports! But if not, were away from home, in some of the clearest water in the world...Ill be happy with anything! lol
Andy -- babe, you just sunk me right back to my pit of despair. HOW on EARTH can you possibly be packed. You guys just blow me away!!!!! As for being away from home -- totally agree with you.
Ok, so you all have me inspired. Will make a packing list (based on everyone else's)today and start to do a real inventory. I will also do the inventory on the FE gifts AND nail down our dates for the tastings. Hmmm.....did I say today? Ok, will get it done this weekend. Today, we might go to a Vappu celebration. Vappu is a Finnish holiday (in essence for May day) and I found a local group of Finns! that are having a Vappu picnic in Dripping Springs. We haven't met them yet so may head over there this afternoon.
Now, off to make some eggs -- a mom's work is never done (except on Disney with the kids in the Kid's Club

).
Have a GREAT Saturday!
