Hey i was just reading on photopass shares for disn trips.. has anyone ever done this???? i mean the CD costs about 100 and it would save to do as a group but i'm not too sure about trusting just anyone.... please advise... maybe the mayers would like to do something like that????

I did it last May...I had no problem with it and received the CD from the leader of the group about 1 month after the last person's trip. It's definitely a great way to save some money.

Has anyone received a 40% off code in their email or snail mail for ressies??? I haven't but my email was full so I'm going to call to see if there's a pin attached to my name. I'm sure there isn't since I already got the 20% off pin back in October.

NC~ I miss Hobby Lobby!!!!!!! Our closest one is an hour away and I haven't had the nerve to drive it. It's in Ohio.

I want to hear about the paintings being done!! Colors, oh and pics would be a nice reference too.


Okay, Mom brag ahead...

Yesterday Drew had his first soccer game. He scored 4 goals for his team and they won, 4-2. So much fun!

Belle had her game, and bless her heart, she doesn't get the whole idea of the game. It's hard, I think, especially for girls when all of their lives, they have gotten in trouble for taking things from other kids, and they have been taught to share and to be nice. Now, we're yelling, "Get the ball! Take the ball!!!!" Sooooo confusing to them, hahahaha.

The best part of the game was when a little boy tripped and fell and Belle stopped and helped him up, then they both looked at each other, the ball was elsewhere and they just stood there looking at it, kind of like " Well, I guess we're supposed to play again". Made this Momma smile.


Okay, off to church!

Congrats to Drew and a Way to Go for Belle!

I'm only bouncing at half-speed right now , very very very excited, but trying to stay calm about the whole thing too....Tomorrow though, I'll have to be bouncing full speed just to take care of everything that's on my list

Hello MAYers!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Who is painting? Mari & Huggie?? I sure hate painting, but always love the end result!

I would be interested in the photo pass share thing, but someone really needs to explain it to me! I've heard some people talking about it on the boards, but have never really understood the whole process. I've never actually bought the photo pass cd either because it's so dang expensive and I'm always broke by the time we get back from WDW!! Plus I take like 400 of my own pictures!

JO - 4 goals for Drew!!! That's awesome! Cute story about Belle! Where are your kids playing soccer? I sure hope it's indoor soccer! We start spring soccer in April. I can't wait!! So what's going on at SV school??? We watched Pittsburgh news last night. Yikes!! Mary Cat isn't in the high school yet, is she?

NewCrew: How is the LOTR modelling project coming along?

Shelly: We used PP at MK and AK. The quality of the photos were quite good and we purchased a few of them at the parks. They will even lighten/darken and do some minor adjustments to the final prints.

We are going to a Disney pin show at Paradise Pier hotel at DLR today. My son is really into the pins and hopes to score a bunch of new ones.

Someone takes the Lead. This someone has to:

Be willing to order the CD(s)
Collect the money from everyone
Be computer savy enough to copy the CDs for everyone
Send CDs to everyone

The more people you get - the cheaper the CDs are. It costs 100$ to preorder a Photopass CD. so if 5 people do it the cost per person will be 25 + shipping (depends on how fast you would like it).
Everyone would send me the money so i can preorder the CD this would be done before vacation.

We will all have to put our pics on the photopass website with the login info that i will make and send to everyone. Each person will be responsible to edit their pics then we will set a date that everyone has to finish their editing and i will order the cd. Since i have a burner on my comp i can make a copy of the CD for everyone. Once i receive the CD i will make copies and send to everyone....

So let me know..... it would save everyone money and we will get pics that WDW CM's take... which are sometimes better then the ones we take and it will include the whole family.....

Hope you get enough people to do the share thing! Sounds like a really great deal, actually. I've never done it, but think it would be a great savings. I'm surprised WDW doesn't have some restrictions somehow.

Seacrest- the pin trading thing is something Mary Cat wants to do. I guess we will have that to look forward to come October!

Shelly- (And for everyone else wonderin what she is talking about) the High school in the district Mary Cat goes to...
I'm not sure what is going on? Just that an "instructor" has sexually assaulted numerous students and the Police chief that was on last night's news sounded like it was REAAAAALLLLYYYY , I mean awful, bad. he said there was going to be much long term affects from it. He almost looked teary eyed, and said it was the worst he's ever seen.

I am really fed up with this school district. Between the strike, the drunk disorderly parent on campus last week with a knife (did you hear about that one???) and now this...
I have never, in all of our years of moving around the country, ever seen anything like this area. I am just beyond words...

Anyway, I'm having lunch, I will check back in with you all later.

But how do we all combine our photopasses when they would each have a different number on the back of the card? Seems like Disney would block us from doing this somehow! But I guess not if everybody has aleady done this. Sounds like a good deal!


JO - Yep, that's the interview I saw on the news last night. Sounds awful. Those poor kids. I immediately thought about you and your kids. We were warned about that school when we moved to the area. That's how we ended up clear up here. I sure hope things get better. There's always PCS just north of you.

DH brought me home a little present from his work trip. A bag of Disney scrapbooking supplies!! Now I've got to start looking for fabric and start making my scrapbook so it will be all ready when we get back!

I wish we would get a little snow. Send some down here. My neighbor and I went walking yesterday morning and it was 32 degrees at 7:00 am. We were a little chilly, but then I broke a sweat. How does that happen?
