Thanks~ The picture is actually an antique print by Henry Rankin Poore. He did it for the Winchester (rifle people) family. These prints were done for advertisement. My Mom won it at an auction in Rochester NY when i lived there. She took it to her house, but it was too big (it's actually quite large) and so she gave it to my Dh as a present. We have dog stuff all over the house...paintings, prints, bookends. Dog lovers! Woof woof!

It is raining here today -first time in like 6 months. My wife is only still part time at WDS and she likes the projects. Hopefully something full time will open up.

I just consumed three chocolate chip toffee squares, because Shelly wouldn't share any of her goodies with me. Well, she said I could have some, but i'd have to come get them.

JO, nice pictures of the snow, but I could just look out my window if I wanted to see that!!! My street looks just like that right now, just a little path. Actually, I think it has stopped snowing for the moment! Your Christmas tree & decorations look beautiful!

You are so nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to make some form your reciepe. If I can get to the stores...see above pic.

The toffee squares haven't lasted too long. Dh has realized after being on this earth for 36 years that he does, indeed, enjoy nuts in desserts now! Thanksgiving was the first time he EVER tasted pecan pie, as well as a Snickers bar, if you can believe that. So now all of the desserts that have pecans and peanuts in them disappear as fast as I can make them.

Bless his heart...

We were at DL last Sunday, the crowds were huge because of the Candlelight Proecessional. I will post up the pics from that trip tonight. Did you know that they had Santa's reindeer there?

We were planning on taking my MIL with us this weekend, but rain is in the forecast. She wanted to see the decorations and the holiday IASW. We are planning on the trip next weekend. We are going to surprise her with a lunch at Blue Bayou, the restaurant in the POTC ride.

Monday night we are going to a holiday party at WDS. I will be sure to take pictures for that!

We had a pirate in the family, many generations ago. No, his name was not Captain Jack Sparrow.
However, the next Bulldog I own will be named Captain Jack. Either that or Captain Te-Bone, after our Tim Tebow QB.

Pirates is definitely cool. People seem to buy and wear a lot of pirate stuff at DL. We are looking forward to BB, we haven't ate there in a while. My boys and wife like the Monte Cristo sandwiches and I like their prime rib. Of course, we will take some pics and video for you.

When are you getting your dog...that will be cool to give him a pirate name.

The pirate thing, ah, yes. Sordid story, I tell ya!

We have no plans of getting another Bulldog...yet.

DH would come home with 20 of them if I let him. We love, love, love Bulldogs. Ours is 3 1/2, and has had so many issues. I have spent thousands and thousands on him, between purchasing him, surgeries, medicines, etc. The next time we get one, I'm doing DNA testing on it to make sure the bloodlines are really there and there are no scallawags or ahem, "pirates" , in the woodshed.



As for driving to DL...
I'll be there in a billion hours...

Tomorrow night is Le Cellier at 5:30 and the Candlelight package at 8:15pm

My ds takes the ACT in the morning at 8 AM! Then tomorrow night, I get to dance with him at the Holly Ball (His social graces training!)! Fun!
