So it's been 7 years since my Dad died.
I just honestly am not over it. I always think it's going to get better, and every year, it slaps me silly.
Yesterday was just an awful day for me. Finally at 6 PM I broke and cried for what seemed an eternity.
And just as I got to where I was feeling a bit better, Mark walks through the door with a dozen roses and the new Michael Buble Christmas CD.

I don't know what I'd do without him.
Anyway, I am better today. I think I am almost all cried out, but when I called Mom this morning, we both started again. They were married for 32 years, so she is struggling today as well.
Oh, grief. I will be happy when today is a memory.
Sorry to dump on ya'll. I always do...
On to better, more bright subjects!
Huggie, I do hope that your trip is wonderful. What time do you land?
JC, Hugs to you. The tree is beautiful.
Shelly, again, be careful
Sulley, hope your car troubles sare better
Mella, hope the retail has calmed down some. Sorry...
NewCrew, loved the peanut story. Who Knew???? I prefer my peanuts boiled. Ever had 'em like that? Yum.
Mari, hope you are doing good.
Seacrest, is it too early to ask what's for lunch? How's the wife's job? Anything good going on?
Is that everyone???? Hugs to all of you guys...
Jo
Okay, PS, had to share this...
Anyone catch the College football awards ceremony on ESPN last night? They were at WDW, and they kept showing the castle, the parades, fireworks...
MVMCP... all of it. The castle with the icicle lights were breathtaking. (I thought of you, Huggie!)
DH and I both said " We want to go next year for that" (meaning the awards). Our Florida QB won two awards and is up for the Heisman...
So naturally, we got all giggly when we saw him win and he was outside signing autographs. Hum...
If he is as good next year as he was this year, we may have to become December travelers instead of Novemeber'ers!
Oh, my! Maybe I could go twice...

OMG, he's frozen again.
