The leaves have started to change, but just a little. The evenings are very cool, down into the 40's. But still 70's during the day. You miss western PA, don't you??? I bet you won't miss it a bit this winter!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

We had some excellent weather! Mid 70's everyday and sunny! (just what I'm hoping for in FL in January ) We went to a parade downtown Saturday and out to dinner Saturday night. Yesterday was Church and soccer. That's about it here!

Now it's laundry today.

I can't even tell you how much laundry I had from being sick and then being out of town.






It took me all night last night. Actually it took DH all night. I am not a night a person so I went to bed. He stayed up and decided to finish it for me. He is a night owl.

OMG- so we are all in a state of excitement----- we have 31 days left until our vacation. The kids are bouncing off of the walls.

Sea- those punches look so cute- bUuuuut- I don't think I'm gonna attempt cutting out 999,999 Mickey heads. I might expire if I did. Thank you so much for looking. I appreciate you!

NC- well good night nurse-
I tell ya'- I am only 3 minutes from all of that stuff- the gas station- totally awesome-- when we were looking for houses, I had a total meltdown and almost passed out-
I was overwrought from the pressure- and in total Southern form, I had a case of the vapors- and Mark took one look at me and said- she's got to get to some A/C and have a coke- FAST--and so he threw me into the car and my BFF sped off to that station, walking me in like i was elderly. Ahh- it's so funny when the people you love know you too well.
Anyway- we are just a couple of minutes form the Embassy Suites as well as the Promenade. You were totally five minutes from me. WE're in Shadow Valley CC.

As for the Hogs- bless their hearts. The FL game is at night, isn't it??? We're tailgating with some of our Hog friends- it's gonna be fun.

Wow! It sounds like you are close to that area. We have stayed at the Embassy Suites ever since we got season tickets. We were staying there before they built the new tower and spa.

Back in the fall of 2006 we looked at several neighborhoods in that area. Doug was going thru an interview process and there was a company that he interviewed with there. I love the area and would love to live there, but I really wanted my kids to be able to finish school here if possible. Thankfully he found a position here that he liked. Hopefully, it will be a good fit for him for the next 7 years!

My sister-in-law says that the area there is easy to move in too. That there are lots of transplanted people there and it is very welcoming to new comers. I hope it has been a good experience for you both moves!!

I think FL is a night game. Sometimes game times change if they are broadcast on TV. FL will definately be good enough to rate broadcast, however, AR is not going to be good enough.

The only game I hoping we win is Ole Miss. If we win that I will be a happy camper.

I am waiting for a call from UPS freight about a delivery of books for the Race for the Cure boutique.

And doing more laundry.

Hi guys - busy weekend. My MIL ended up in the hospital. She lost conscious in church..turns out she was dehydrated and has kidney infection. I think she is going to be release from the hospital sometime today.

Went down to DLR on Saturday night to watch my son do some more dancing.

Great video's Sea..... I love those mickey ears they have on.

Nothing new on the home front. my DSS "other woman" still has not gone to the doctor. That is crazy. The moment i found out that i was pregnant i called my doctor and made an appointment right away. I also have been trying to call her but she hasn't picked up the phone so I'm thinking it was all a game to her.

On a different note....

Sea - by anychance do they sell postcards in DL for WDW... when we go in january it's a surprise for my Dniece 7 years old and I wanted to give her a postcard on christmas. Let me know and i will send you the money. If not i'll figure something out.

I went to work out this morning and then got my car washed.

Next I went to Whole Foods for yogurt, fruit, and I bought one of their Rosemary Chicken Breast from the deli for my lunch.

Then I went by the Race Space. Still more work to be done there. I think I might go buy after lunch.

Mornin-

had to go register the car and get drivers licenses this morning. Very simple...we were still in their system, LOL.

NC- our area is super friendly- there are so many transient-type people here that it's like a big family. Two weeks after we moved in, the ladies on our culdesac had a luncheon for me at the club. It was so sweet.
But of course, when I moved here the first time, we came from Rochester NY where I knew no one for 3 years- so coming here was a breath of fresh air.
And coming back to a place you have fond memories of is easy. If we could only find a church like we had in PA............ I am in desparate need of one I love. So far, we haven't found one close to us that is what we are looking for. We'll go back this weekend to FBC where we used to go.
It's just on the other side of town...LOL... in reality- 15 minutes at the absolute MOST- but so far away in NW Arkansas time. hahahahaha



Sooooooooo- MAri- sounds like your DSS MIGHT be in the clear????? Gosh- what a blessing that would be.

RF- my you are busy! The move is coming up quick!

Shelly- how's your plans coming?????????? I am getting excited over CBR!!!!! I can't wait to get there.

But then she told me I'm anemic. So I'm taking iron, and wellsir, I don't like it. hahaha

Hi Mari - Those are "Mickey Bat" hats for Halloween. When you bob your head, the wings flap against the ears. It is pretty funny to watch somebody try to do it really fast without giving themselves whiplash.

They don't sell any WDW postcards at DLR - sorry about that. Would you like a character postcard? Let me know.

JO - I know it is so very hard finding a Church when you move. Good luck.

My plans are coming along pretty good. Nothing really to do or plan now that the ADR's are taken care of. Just waiting 3 more months to tell the kids! And in 4 months from right now I will be there!! I can't wait to hear how you and your family like CBR! Just go with an open mind, I know you and Mark love POFQ, and CBR is nothing like it. Pretty opposite actually. But it is very beautiful! I'm sure you will see that. Hopefully you will get a great location and a good mousekeeper!

yay- Shelly's here, now I have someone to talk to...



I am really and truly getting excited to stay at CBR. Really!! I know it won't be like POFQ- but I am happy to be trying a new one out. ANd besides- I might fall head over heels in love with it and have to book another trip while I'm there.

Um, not gonna happen-
Mark has informed me that this is the last for a while- he wants to take the kids to other places. Like going back to Jackson Hole- maybe the Grand Canyon, you know- *other*(????) places. And then once we go to those places- I can say "See-- we should've just gone to WDW." I can always leverage the Florida Football games- that should do the trick. ALTHOUGH- he is the one that wanted to go this past MAY...

oh- do you think we are going to have a bad time getting our request of Aruba or Jamaica- with connecting rooms? We land really late at night- 10 pm and won't get there until around midnight I bet. I know I'll be calling days before we get there.

As far as the church thing- oh my gosh, we are really depressed- and we are in the bible belt. hahahaha. I just loved Victory- that pastor was amazing.


Are you going to any new restaurants during your January trip? I think you will like January- I just hope it isn't too cold and you can't swim...
