I am also on a discussion board through CruiseCritic.com, and I am on the rollcall forum for our Carnival Med cruise. They are so non talkative! Nobody seems excited to be going. Nobody discusses pre boarding meets, parties, what they are wearing , what they are packing, what they want to see, do, eat, where they are going, etc. What fun we are going to have!

My small group from Huter's Creek is very excited, I guess we are all Disney Type People......several of us either do work at WDW or have worked there. so I guess that makes us more

You are not alone, there are several families around my neighborhood that will be going on their first Disney cruise in September, and we are all so excited for ourselves, and for each other!! Some people are majorly missing out.....

49 days, 49 days, 49 days until we board that plane. Such a fantastic thought. This will be the first time I have been to Florida since I was 16 that I won't go to the theme parks (first time David or hte kids have ever been down without het parks). That is freaking me out. We'll have to try to get enough of a WDW dose just by lunch at Whispering Canyon. But what will I do without my sweet pretzle from Kring La???? (yes I know--poor little thing doesn't get to do the parks ONLY a two week DCL cruise and a few nights in Barcelona! ). But you other Disney fanatics know how I feel.

I didn't really think about it that way, but once I did, I realized we will be in the same boat (literally, no pun intended --LOL). My DH doesn't understand, but for me, its a big deal. It will be really weird for me to be in Florida and not go to a WDW park. Even on our last cruise, we went to Universal, but went to the MK for MVMCP.
So yes, I know how you feel!

Boy, I only had a TWO day break from the Disboards and there are about 8 pages that I had to catch up on. Cquick, I'm not surprised to hear the Carnival people aren't as chatty or fun as this amazing awesome group is!! Every time we're leaving a port on the cruise, don't you ever look over to another ship and see the envious looks on the passenger's faces as our horn blows and our whole ship cheers and is always having a blast? I see that every time we pull away from a port.

Awesome on all the cruise savings. I know mine automatically did go down from DCL several months ago, only about $100. Has anybody else in a category 5 or 6 gotten any big savings or discounts lately? I checked the website, it is showing more than what I paid for booking onboard for my category.

It's official now, I just canceled our cruise.
We found out the birth mother is due May 10th. I will be thinking of all of you while your on vacation. I am hoping we will meet someday on another cruise. I have mentioned to my DH that riding the ship back from california the end of the summer in 08 would be a great "mother's day" gift next year!
I will continue to pop in and really look forward to hearing all about the cruise when everyone get's home.

May 10th is a lucky day. That's when my DD was born!!

Oh good heavens I've been off the group for less than 24 full hours and you've all been chatty again.

Needless to say I can't even REMEMBER all the points to which I could respond!!

I'll just say tha tour TA finally got our reservations ironed out so all our excursions are back and we're very relieved.

i am thinking about ordering rubber bracelets for this cruise....anyone interested? they are only $1.39 each in both adult and youth sizes if we order a total of 120....just let me know...i would be willing to organize...

If you're still gathering participants - count me in for 3 adults.

The College is starting Spring Break, so now I can devote some time to cruise planning - may require a trip to WDW for supplies!

My camcorder is about 6 years old and I've been looking at the new
ones that use a hard drive for storage, do any of you have one of these and do you like them?

Allright everybody. I am off at an ungodly hour this Saturday morning to stay with my Girl Scouts while they sell cookies to the early riser do it yourselfers at Lowes. As for early folks, usually there are several of us who can be found at the deck 9 coffee station, getting ready for sunrises on the cruise.
