After hearing that priced fell for Cat 12 cabins and that several of you had your prices lowered. I called Costco and asked for the new price. He went away for a few minutes and then came back any said the lower price was not available after you have made your final payment and applied only to new bookings. I told him that must be an error as I knew several of you have received the discount and we are all past the final payment date.

He went away for a longer time and then came back with our $1500 discount.

I could swear when I first booked my original June 6th Med cruise through Disney they assured me that I would benefit from any price reduction. Does anyone know what the official policy is? Is this a Squeaky Wheel situation?

It should be policy. It was confirmed by a DCL agent a few weeks ago, plus my TA reduced my fare for me as soon as the reduction took place. I didn't even haveto call. (but I did anyway!:) )

I think when you use a non-Disney travel agent or those that don't specialize in DCL, they don't know the rules.

Good thing I talked you into this trip, huh Kissimmee??? I just saved you $1,500:lmao::rotfl2:

Have you figures out the price difference bewteen the June 6th cruise and this one? With this price adjustment. We are now $100 less than our original 10 day.

I'll just be SOOOO glad when airfare info comes out on Tuesday. Once I have that set up, I can just have two webwindows running...one for the DIS and one for DCL to see if they drop the price anymore!!!:surfweb: :rotfl2:

It's Friday!! On the back patio with a dark rum and coke in very balmy 14C weather in the glorious sunshine. Looks like Spring is here at long last. What a beautiful day. Drop the parents off at the airport this morning for their week long cruise, hit me on the drive home that I will be doing the same thing in 7 weeks time, 49 short day. What a wonderful start to a day that is.

Boss was in town also, had a late lunch meeting with her and then she told us all to go home. Got to love a boss that will pick up lunch and then send you home packing. Glorious start to a weekend.

To top it off I got a start on the door decorations.

Off to lounge in the sun and soak up some rays befor ethey disappear for the evening.

Cheers!!

Pat

I am also on a discussion board through CruiseCritic.com, and I am on the rollcall forum for our Carnival Med cruise. They are so non talkative! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Nobody seems excited to be going.   Nobody discusses pre boarding meets,:cheer2: parties,:dance3: what they are wearing:chat: , what they are packing,:hyper2: what they want to see, do, eat,:drinking1 where they are going,:car: etc. What fun we are going to have! party:

My small group from Huter's Creek is very excited, I guess we are all Disney Type:tigger: People......:donald:several of us either do :dumbo:work at WDW or have worked there. so I guess that makes us more :simba:

FUN:cool1:

Has anyone gotten their price ajustment directly from DCL?

We booked through DCL and not a TA.

I got mine a couple weeks ago......I called today and she said the one I got was the lowest I can get.....but it's great, so I am not complaining!

Oddman--I think you should be able to get it adjusted having booked directly through DCL. We used t obook WDW directly (before we found our great TA) and were always able to get the price adjustments if we called. It is certainly worth your time to make a phone call.

Pat--Lovely afternoon here as well. Must be nice to have such a great boss. We are preparing a surprise b-day party for a friend for tonight. Fabulous to have such weather to celebrate in.:cool1: :cool1:

49 days, 49 days, 49 days until we board that plane. Such a fantastic thought. This will be the first time I have been to Florida since I was 16 that I won't go to the theme parks (first time David or hte kids have ever been down without het parks). That is freaking me out. We'll have to try to get enough of a WDW dose just by lunch at Whispering Canyon. But what will I do without my sweet pretzle from Kring La???? (yes I know--poor little thing doesn't get to do the parks ONLY a two week DCL cruise and a few nights in Barcelona!:charac2: :charac2: ). But you other Disney fanatics know how I feel.

YES! It's Five O'Clock Somewhere!
Thank god, the Tiki Bar is Open!
Ready for Margatiaville and some Boat Drinks.:goodvibes

28 more minutes till it is time to slide down the dinosaur tail.....
