Cast - myself and DH (MarkRG - who did his reports live from the Magic). Also along were Mark's parents Bob & Susan. This was our 5th DCL cruise - their 3rd.

Our goal - to relax and enjoy! With so many new ports for us we were interested in the experience. Since we have no kids the reports won't cover that. Since this was our 5th cruise we also opted out on all the big shows. I must say though that this was the most wonderful cruise I've ever taken. So on with the show:

Today is a day I've been waiting for - we are going to see the turtles and snorkel with the stingrays!

The day started early with breakfast at 6:30 as our tour left at 7:50. This is the port we tender in, it was a breeze. Being part of a tour we were on a double decker tour with 3 other tours. The nice part about tendering is you get to see the Magic in all her beauty out in full water.

There were two other ships in port with us today: Celebrity Cruises Century and Carnival's Inspiration.

We got in small air conditioned busses to start our tour. First stop - Hell! Funky rock formations. We sent ourselves a postcard.

Next stop the turtle farm. We've looked at the turles here via web cam the past year. Now we finally got to see them in person! Too cute! We each got to hold one for a picture. Only complaint is you don't spend enough time here. Kind of rushed.

On to the stingrays! We board a double decker boat with 3 other busses (all Disney) to go out to Stingray City. A nice 1/2 ride and we were there. As we pulled up the stingrays were already heading over the boat. They know where their meals are coming from :) It was amazing! I even got to hold one. I never got the hang of feeding them, but Mark did. We had a great time in the water with them. Definately the hightlight of the trip.

We head back into town and meet up with Mark's parents for a few minutes before they head off on their tour which didn't involve water.

A little shopping and then we head back to the ship. Since it was past lunch time we ordered room service for a mid-afternoon meal. Back on to the veranda for a little quiet time with my book. Nice!

The magic was the last to leave port about 5pm.

Dinner at Animator's tonight for the Around the World dinner. Mark had the Roasted Chicken from India while I had the Prime Rib from the good old USA. Mark is the adverturesome eater while I'm strictly meat and potatos :)

Another quiet evening - looking back on some wonderful memories. Oh, and putting some lotion on my very burnt shoulders :(

Sounds like yet another fun day of touring and relaxing! I've heard about Stingray City - did Mark take any pictures there? On to read the rest of your posts.
