Open House today....I've got to get my brother out of the house for two hours. The Auction is next week. Please send lots of positive thoughts and pixie dust that it sells...otherwise we will go into forclosure and not recoup any losses and have to still pay the lawyer, the auctioneer, the advertising, etc. It could be devistating financially. One more week and we'll find out. It's got to sell!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

That's because in the morning, we're up and doing things to distract us from our thoughts. During the night we're stuck just lying there. But now I can't get thoughts of a Subway sub out of my mind! I've had this obsession for a week and just can't get enough Subway! :scared1:

We had Subway for dinner last night - perfect dinner to take to the movies. Love the Honey Oat bread....

Oh and we saw We Own the Night - I liked it, Darrell thought it was ok but a little slow at times.

We didn't go to the drive in last night, but John said YES to going tonight! YEA! We'll just keep the heat on in the car while watching the movies.

Marilyn, I think Orlando Bloom is worth it and Johnny Dep is a bonus!!!!!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Have fun at the movies - totally agree about Orlando!

Thanks guys....and thank you to Lisa/disneylover5 for telling me about diettogo....it's so easy to do and satisfies you with good food so you don't crave anything and feel full.

The clothes are loose and I've probably gone down at least one size. YEA!

Hopefully by May I should be down many sizes at this rate, even with my upcoming cruise. Finally, something that works!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Congrats on the weight loss!!

Haven't been around much this month and we are off again for the weekend. Going to DL for our next Mouseadventure. Today we are going to DL to "study" and tomorrow is the actual game. Everyone keep your fingers crossed we do well (or at least better than our previous game).

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

It's actually raining here in San Diego today - yea!!!

Well done Deb, keep it up. You must be noticing the difference now.

Deb, I'm so happy for you! :goodvibes  :dance3:

OK....now I really have to get moving. Tried to do a tiny bit of cleaning, but kept getting distracted by other stuff I have to do. Clearing out some more of my old stuff I no longer use. I really should get rid of lots of Tyler's stuff that's still in my room. Instead of working to earn back his old stuff, he might be more motivated to work towards new stuff!

Probably not going to find time to squeeze in a haircut today because I still haven't gone clothes shopping yet and I'm starting to get hungry for lunch AND I hope to take a nap before picking Tyler up. So....clothes shopping today and haircut tomorrow. Catch you all a bit later!

Hope all goes to plan Deb.

It is amazing to see young girls with colored polish. All my DD's and her friends do fis rench polish.

Same thing here....Vanessa said "I am already so different, I want to do BRIGHT RED" and she did and it looks great!!

So I decided that I was going to get on the scale this morning and not wait until Nov 1st....coz I'll be off the cruise and at WDW....don't want to weigh in then. This morning I weighed in 9 less lbs. in almost two weeks. Good! diettogo is working well. Of course, I'll be way off diettogo food while on the cruise and vaca......so here's to starting over when I get back home.

Wow....I have lost 25lbs in 6 weeks. That's a diet I can do!

:cutie: :cutie: :cutie:

I love diettogo!! Wonderful job. Keep it up. While on the cruise.....just remember the serving sizes you have been eating each and stay away from desserts. You will be back on a cruise in May and you will be 100 pounds lighter and you can have all the desserts you want!!

Have a great time tonight! That sounds like so much fun! It's so sunny today and supposed to be tomorrow too, so it would be perfect for doing a pumpkin patch or corn maze or something similar, but I told Tyler he lost those privileges when he got suspended. :guilty: I suppose we could go to the park or do something outside. He loves yardwork and the back yard needs some serious attention.

When does Tyler go back to school?

This sounds like when I was pregnant with Olivia. I was sick pretty much all nine months! I wouldn't throw up all day long, but I FELT like I would throw up and my appetite suffered. I knew I had to eat so that the baby would get nutrition, but the sickness was miserable. I left the hospital about 30 lbs lighter than the day I got pregnant.

The doctor told me 10% of all pregnancies were like ours. My regular jeans were too big for me the day I took Daniel home. I also remember her telling me not to worry about the baby, that he would take from m body what he needed. I never really worried about that...thank goodness.

This was 1989 and I was fired from my job since I missed so much work because of being sick. I filed a Title 9 case with the EEOC (dismissed due to pregnancy) and that lasted forever. That was a very difficult time in my life....but I got the cutest little boy ... who is now 6' 2" and wonderful!! You guys all get to meet him in just a few months!!!!

does anyone just ever have those days where you think this just can't be my child?

Samantha has really been not herself this week. We went grocery shopping. We get home, put it all away and she demands (not asks in a polite way) a yougurt...it was close to lunch or maybe dinner and I said no and she sat on the floor and had a fit. Haley looked at me and I looked at her and she started laughing which of course heightened the tantrum. "everyone hates me" she screamed and ran to their room.

I so fear the teenage years...can anyone send me a handbook for this?

This made me laugh too, only because I've been there and done that! A few years back Molly was sad as her cousins (boys) came over and they were hanging out with Wilson, she was very girly and left out. She got mad and stomped outside and starting speaking Spanish to herself. She said "no one likes me and they don't understand me in English when I talk so I may as well speak in Spanish and then they really can't understand me" (she translated for us later) I really could tell what she was saying.

I have learned that the best way to deal with the emotional outbursts is let them go at the time, then bring it up to talk thru the concerns. Girls like us women just need to vent sometimes.

I had very difficult pregnancies. With Daniel (he was over 8 pounds when he was born) I weighed 10 pounds less than the day I got pregnant when I went to deliver him. I threw up the entire pregnany. There were days when I threw up 50 times. It was horrible. I left the hospital weighing 30 pounds less than the day I got pregnant. I even had "morning" sickness for 4 days after he was born....then it just stopped.....no more.....strange.

Anyway, when I was pregnant with Annie, if I ate Subway...I did not throw it up.....I always seemed to think it was something to do with the bread. Altough I still threw up a lot, I was able to gain 2 pounds with the pregnancy because of Subway. I lived at Subway.....breakfast lunch and dinner......

I could not go back there for years and years after that.

Gretchen was much easier....I did throw up every day, but usually just once or twice no matter what I ate.

Can you believe I let meself get pregnant sevarl times?? Was I crazy or what?:lmao: :lmao:

I was 41 when Gretchen was born and my doctor had told me after Annie...no MORE. Well after Gretchen, she said made me sign the paper to have my tubes tied off. She said I would die if I let myself get pregnant again. She could not believe I made it though Gretchen.

Add me to your list of never agains. I lost weight with both the kids. With Molly I didn't throw up 4 days during the whole 9 months. Then had a high blood pressure threat on the eve of my delivery.

With Wilson I lost weight and then got gestational diabetes and lost even more. When they tested me they couldn't believe it either, I didn't fit the profile. I was on bed rest (high blood pressure) at 6 weeks out and then had to be induced at 3 weeks early (protein in the urine) my delivery was record time, everytime my doctor saw me he doubled my potosin (sp) as my BP kept climbing. Poor Wilson had a battle with low blood sugar after birth and I had to fight tooth and nail for no bottles. Never got Molly to nurse (pumped for 3 months) so I was going to win the fight with #2. He was ok after the 2nd day, but Paul was wiped out. He didn't sleep the whole time we were in the hospital, he was my guard....NO BOTTLES!

Pregnancy, the best diet I ever had. Okay, the only diet I've ever had.

p.s. after the kids were born I put on 20lbs...nursing is hard work.

forgot to mention, Molly and I are off to leader/daughter girl scout camping on the coast. Wish us luck, it rained here yesterday....I'd stay home but my co-leader and Molly's best friend are going too and they LOVE camping....off to pack and freeze....

see ya tomorrow night.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Nan

I nursed each of my 3 for about 16-18 months. And yes it is hard work. After Gretchen was born (and I did not loss weight during htis pregnancy) I was over 40 and I said I cna eat anything I want, I'm nursing!!

Well I ate and ate and ate and I never stood on a scale.....nest thing I know I weighed 170 pounds.....and my wieght battle started. I should have been smarter.....

Can't wait to meet him! And you too, of course! AND everybody else here too! :grouphug:

Oh, I'm sure you'll still manage to have a good time despite the rain and cold! Enjoy! :goodvibes

So I managed to buy 3 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, 1 bra, 1 pair of pajamas for Tyler, and one sweater for Tyler today. Great deals and now I have a few outfits to wear for a while.

we hit the mall too Holly...sounds like you cleaned up!
I bought Samantha a red Tank top on sale for $2 all the kids bucs things were over $30 and I would rather her pick something out at the stadium for the same price. I found Haley's bucs dress but I did buy tattoos, stickers and socks, and a visor for me. I have a ball cap but I hate it enclosing my head!
They has some awesome nails, nail polish tattoos body glitter and paint for UF and FSU but no NFL teams.

I found out we are in the South End Zone - in the Miller Lite Party area! There are palm trees picnic tables food and beverages as well as seats pretty close to the field. If anyone watches the Bucs and the Titans - look for us tomorrow!

but the girls already want to go over to the pirate ship! We'll have to check it out at some point. Last game we went to at Raymond James Stadium was the Outback Bowl and the last Bucs game we went to we got soaked!!!

How cool! Sounds fun!

my mom called from Disney and she said the suites at All Star Music are huge....there are only three of them and she said it makes such a difference! She tried to guilt me into coming over...she said she would pay my gas and food....um and leave John at home. He would be upset, he woudld want to go too.

Watch, they will probably win the castle stay or a cruise or soemthing.

Gorgeous day here today. You can tell the weather is on the verge of changing. It's in the 80's and sunny and just wonderful. I noticed in the Children's Place they had huge winter coats..I am thinking - this is Fl, does anyone really wear them?

Samantha wore my Indians bracelet to school on Friday and guess what didn't come home? Let's hope they do better tonight!

And Go BUlls! - It's amazing how bandwagonny the sports stores at the mall have become, now there is USF everything. You could never find that sort of selection before. Whatever sells.
