Just something the Indians started this year. Trot Nixon, who came over as a free agent from Boston, started it. Since then, they do it every game when they win.

It is almost like a challenge for the guys who are watching out to get surprised. They hide the pies, try to sneak up, etc..

In 1995, they would stick a bubblegum bubbe on a players head when he wasn't paying attention in the dugout, and would see how long it would take him to notice. They would show guys on camera for several innings with the bubble gum on their heads.

Fans started finding little pink balloons and taping them to their hats when they came to the ballpark!

Our teams have always been practical jokers. It seems like it is expected here.

It's nice to hear from you DS is much better and had his first full-day of school today. LOVED the pictures from Cabo....makes me want to be there now I wish I was toasting with you guys last night...I've actually never been to the Keg I've been everywhere else in Desert Ridge but not there. My DH makes the BEST steaks on the grill and I never order steaks at restaurants no matter how nice of a restaurant because I'm always disappointed and want the ones he cooks. I'm glad your settled in your new office. I bet going to Cabo is pumping you up for this trip. I tell you that sunset makes me wish I was there now

Had to turn the air conditioning back on today! Very hot, but I loved it! Supposed to be same tomorrow.

Freaky thing happened today. Honeybee swarm in my neighborhood. I had NO idea what the heck was going on and Tyler and I were a bit freaked out about getting out of the car. We pulled into our driveway and saw the swarms everywhere. Not just our house, all the neighbors too. I'd never seen anything like it and wasn't quite sure what was going on. I thought maybe a bunch of baby bees had hatched, but Tyler told me he thinks they're honeybees. We bolted into the house as quickly as possible. 2 managed to get in with us, so I got rid of them. Did a search online and found info on MSU's website about honeybee swarms and how & why they happen. It says they can be 20,000 - 30,000 bees and "quite alarming to the uninformed". Um......YEAH! Says they'll go away in 2-3 days. Yuck!

We have the "killer" bees here in Arizona. Have to be careful around even a small swarm, depending if they are the "scary" bees or not.

Her birthday party yesterday at Girly Girlz.

How cute How fun for all the girls especially the birthday girl on her special day. We have a girly girlz near us too but I think we will wait a little... my friends daughter is a little older and they did a cheetah girl theme and she said it was so cute. My DD is not into cheetah girls(too young maybe) and we had a princess tea party with Princess Aurora actually she was from Litchfield park she was really good http://www.princess-teaparty.com/ for future party and she's local for you we had to pay extra for traveling fee but it was worth it. I think we will do something lower key this year a couple of friends at Arista Curlz at PV mall its similar to girly girlz but since they are hairstylist type place they'll get manicures and their hair in curls and styled etc... I don't want to invite tonz of people since she has only been back to preschool for one day her second is tommorow so a few friends from last year will do this year. How fun... while they let us. They are only this young once

So for excursions the pretty sure ones so far-

CC-stingrays with Disney figured safe for our little ones ...DH and I did the Grand Cayman sandbar one before and loved it...well DH more than I ...my phobia is the water or I should say sharks, pirana, etc...

the cliff divers seem like a must ...gydell you'll have to give me info on the restaurant. I would love our kids to see that but wouldn't want them to wait forever and then not be able to see...would rather pay more and enjoy it.

Taylor had her 5th bday party at Libby Lu and loved it. She did the princess one, of course!

They looked so cute when I saw it. They have it at the Scottsdale Fashion Square and when I went by my DD was maybe 2...way too young but I still remember the place. Paradise Valley mall is closer to us and they have the Arista Curlz place there.
