Good morning

I'm Deanna and was on the WB and EB transAtlantic, so I know a few people already. The princess is my daughter, Katey, who won a pageant recently. I tried to take the picture off, but for some reason, it's stuck there. Someone on another thread called me "Queen Mum" for awhile. No french conections--I'm of German and Scottish decent. We live in Chicago. 8 kids, 10 chickens...

Gotta run...

Well I did go off to bed so missed your reply. 8 kids!! Mind you the 10 chickens would scare me more.

Im Just curious , I found out that I am going to be at WDW May 3rd through the 10th and was wondering if you guys were doing a meet before the cruise ??? Though I am not going on the WB I do know some people and thought if you wre having a meet I could drop by and meet up with some old friends ...

Please let me know ....also if youd like to PM me please do ....

pirate:

I am really hoping as a group we get to have a meet before the cruise and it would be great to meet you.(I've read the odd post on the EB thread!!)

The REAS package is not offered on our cruise. Oh well, at least that's one less decision I have to make!

I was going to get this, but will still get the 'Romance'(haha) basket.

John1 - You don't need to bring a tie on the cruise, I found one that I will bring for you. Less packing for you!

You got it! I will even let you chose your color - yellow or navy!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: OK....moving on now.... :rotfl:

Had to turn the air conditioning back on today! Very hot, but I loved it! Supposed to be same tomorrow.

Freaky thing happened today. Honeybee swarm in my neighborhood. I had NO idea what the heck was going on and Tyler and I were a bit freaked out about getting out of the car. We pulled into our driveway and saw the swarms everywhere. Not just our house, all the neighbors too. I'd never seen anything like it and wasn't quite sure what was going on. I thought maybe a bunch of baby bees had hatched, but Tyler told me he thinks they're honeybees. We bolted into the house as quickly as possible. 2 managed to get in with us, so I got rid of them. Did a search online and found info on MSU's website about honeybee swarms and how & why they happen. It says they can be 20,000 - 30,000 bees and "quite alarming to the uninformed". Um......YEAH! Says they'll go away in 2-3 days. Yuck!

We aren't supposed to kill bees in our country, is it the same over there? I would be very alarmed seeing what you saw. 2-3 days???:scared1:

I can't believe I made the list either...I can't keep up...and always feel behind. How fun it will be to meet everyone in person on the cruise...like old friends:cool1:

It is going to be brill on that Saturday morning!:dance3:

Just me, myself and I again...

All alone again...:rolleyes1

Digga dang, digga dang...:dance3:

G'night all, have a great Wednesday!:cool1:

Karen

thank you dearie, news today I'm afraid is not good (again) :sad2:

Her doctor called to tell me that the CT showed "something" on her lungs, so we now have a PET scan thursday morning. I sense this means it's a tumor of sorts, as from what I've web read that's what PET scans are for. Regardless of the PET scan outcome she is having the mastecomy as the breast cancer tumor(s) are bad and must be taken care of.

I just worry that if the PET scan shows it's bad and we've all agreed that mom won't have radiation or chemo (quality of life issues) that she has this rotten surgery and feels like crap from it and then dies shortly thereafter, what is the point of the rotten surgery.

Crystal Ball where are you. These are the crappy parts of life.

Better than ENGLISH TEA :scared1: I must come visit and bring my tea loving daughter...oh yeah, we'll visit the new AG Boutique in Atlanta!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Sorry about the news of your mom's scan. Lets keep praying it is not as serious as you might be thinking at the moment.

English Tea. I can bring some Yorkshire Tea over for you all to try. Our firends from Georgia love it!

So sorry the news wasn't good. And no matter whar decision you make it will all work out. Sending lots of prayers and pixie dust!

Morning all....!
We are having an Olive Garden for lunch today. I have to go pick it up for the department. Yummmy!!!

You guys were chatty last night.

tonight is Girls Night Out...
John is closing. He had a game last night but they lost....they are not doing so well this season. He didn't get home until late.

This morning it was 76...all this cold weather talk has landed some changes here in FL. It was actually very nice and would have made a great morning to sit outside and enjoy the weather...but since I am always running late I didn't get a chance to.

Sure was! Been really tired lately. Have to start going to bed by 10.

I need to do this as well...and get the girls down at a resonable hour. I was talking to Haley's teacher yesterday and she said Haley is always the last asleep and the first one up...these kids need hardly any sleep to function! It's wearing me out.

So for excursions the pretty sure ones so far-

CC-stingrays with Disney figured safe for our little ones ...DH and I did the Grand Cayman sandbar one before and loved it...well DH more than I ...my phobia is the water or I should say sharks, pirana, etc...
You wouldn't believe what is under the water!!

On Siesta, there are tons of sting rays...we have to do the sting ray shuffle...quite often there will be a shark stuck on the sandbar as well. John and I used to swim to the sandbar and collect sand dollars...after seeing the first "stuck" shark I have stayed on land at the edge!

Oh Nan, I'm so sorry you didn't get good news about your mom. :sad1:  :grouphug:

BTW Karen . . .

Can you do me a favor???

We are going to see the Indians play the A's for two games this Saturday and Sunday, and we are hoping they clinch the pennant at home this weekend.

Could you call them and tell them to lie down for us so that can happen? We would really appreciate it! It is our last homestand.

:rotfl2:

I am!

But I have been busy all morning!
Me too! It will be SO busy for me today. Both my guys here at work will be playing catch up from missing the last 2 days. I'm sure they'll both be frantic! One is already behind his closed door, blinds on his window closed, so he's in deep concentration mode. ;) The big boss isn't in yet. Very odd, especially after missing 2 days. So he'll be stressed out for sure when he gets in and sees all the stuff piled on his desk. :scared1: Thank goodness I only work 4 hours today....actually, only 3 hours to go now! :goodvibes

:rotfl: Oh! So THAT'S how it works! :lmao:

no one is up yet?
:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

I'm up! I'm up! I'm up!

I want to agree that it will be nice to have some days in the 80's! I can't wait for the Food and Wine Festival! Today it's raining, raining, raining here in Orlando. So far there have been no hurricanes, and this rain is really needed before our dry season starts.

Chuck and I are going to be adventurous and take a short vacation by ourselves soon! We found a nice place for Patrick to stay for a respite care in Sarasota, and we visited it and it will be appropriate for him. He said it would be like going to camp! There are other disabled adults there his age, so it will be fun for him.

Hey! Lets get a Food and Wine date set up! Anybody want to do a Night at Epcot?

Connie
