Well, since no one else answered the technical question, I will do my best . . .
First you have to find a photo hosting site like Photobucket (
www.photobucket.com) the DIS also has photo hosting available on the DIS community photo part of the web site.
Follow the directions of the photo site to upload your photos - the DIS has restrictions on size of uploaded photos. Photobucket is a bit more user friendly in helping you upload photos.
Once your photos are uploaded, view them on the site, and "Right Click" on the photo, selecting from the menu, "copy image address". Make sure you are not clicking on just the thumbnail (small preview photo), or you will be copying the link for this tiny photo - make sure it is the larger representation of the image.
Now . . . once you have the image address copied to your clipboard, go to post on the DIS, and to display your photo here, start off the place where you want the image to appear with
To make sure you did it right, preview your post before posting. Your hosted image should appear.
If you want to see what a photo posting looks like that is correct, quote someone else's post, and you will see the command language with the photo addresses instead of the images in the quote.
PM me if you need help, and if I am around, I will be glad to help.
