I got him a new crush tshirt from Dland, he worn it to school the next day. he loves him some turtles. I figure you two will be sharing with each other the turtles you each buy at every port too.
He has an old sweatshirt that says Wil Dude, it's so cute but almost (ok already) too small but I can't let it go, and he still wears it...
Our daughter is allergic to nuts. We have to watch really carefully and we have the epi pen also, however now that she is a teenager, it is really much easier since she can tell herself. Lucky for us, she immediately gets sick and her system kicks it right back out.
Which brings me to this little story....we were on a Delta Flight and the flight attendant came on and said that they had a child allergic to nuts on the plane so they were asking the 2 rows in front of the child and the 2 rows behind the child to not eat nuts during the flight. There were some pretty pi**ed off passengers.
Funniest part of the story. The kids were all the way in like the 3rd to the last row of the flight, and their parents were sitting in First Class. I think that is what really upset people more than anything, about their "lack" of concern. If they were really that worried, maybe they should have been sitting with their child.....
Anyway, we can now start the debate of whether airlines should or should not serve nuts on flights....![]()

I love legoland and so do the kids they were dissapointed that we weren't going there when we go to DL but then DH said well we do have to go to Legoland so we'll go sometime in the summer when its well over 100 degrees here in AZBeen there, done that. LOVED IT!!!! How old is he again? We went on Wilson's 4th bday, he wasn't in his totally freaked about legos stage, in it now. I'd like to take him now. I loved it. It was like a giant play land for adults too. Watch for cheap tickets, 2 for 1 and stuff like that. I see them around, I think I have some from subway. pm me and I can mail them to you.
wow....it must be hard to keep up with her diet...its in everything. My DS is allergic to eggs and acacia gum so we are really good at reading labels and eggs are in a lot of things ranch dressing and some obscure things and so is acacia gum . Luckily its not fatal for him but it aggrevates his asthma and we'll have to do breathing treatments around the clock for about two weeks and that is not how we want to spend our vacation so we'll try and be careful on the trip...I didn't know I needed to submit the medical form I put it in the kids club ressies and they said its in the systemHave to check that out as Nancy has to have hers renewed before the trip..
I am currently working at Health Canada on contract and here is a great link for you
http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/securit/allerg/fa-aa/allergen_sulphites-sulfites_e.html
I've printed it out and will be handing it to our wait staff and anyone else who has questions about it
Thanks for the reminder. I wanted to resend ours.....just to be sure they have it, as Nancy has an anaphylactic reaction to sulphites (preservative in seafood and a by-product of fermentation) and MSG
We've asked for a table to ourselves because the last time we sailed, the wait staff did such an outstanding job at protecting her, the other couple at our table felt slighted as they did not fully appreciate that she could die in minutes if she reacted to her food. and they let their displeasure be known to the Head Server and in their lack of tips to the wait staff.
We don't usually like the nuts they serve on the planes. My daughters and I almost always choose the cookies if given the choice. So it wouldnt bother us one bit to not serve nuts.
Five weeks from right now, I'll be sitting at my desk sulking, because I've dropped Cheri off at the airport that morning, but I had to go to work!
....lots to catch up on....might not make it all the way through on lunch break.....

My daughter too has a severe nut allergy. It is listed on the online forms you fill out when buying a southwest airline ticket. So her ticket will say Peanut dust allergy and they will offer people pretzels instead. I think if people ever had to see someone they love stop breathing, turn , blue then pass out needing to be resussitated (especially a child) they would have a little more compassion for those of us who deal with these allergies in our children.
love your fridgeDid I mention that I have my door magnets all over my fridge at home?

John, I'm sorry......you're having lots of rough stuff going on lately.Once again, no time to catch up, but just when we thought Monday was bad enough, Tuesday came along . . .
Sophia and I were in a minor accident last night. We went to Value City to (of all things) buy my brother underwear (non-bedazzled) and take it to the hospital. We were stopped at a light to, turn left. A car came up behind us and hit us going between 5-10mph - jolting us pretty good. I got out of the car to take a look at damage, and a young, African-American kid with loud rap music playing motioned to me to pull over in a parking lot. I said no, and as I walked back to the car to call 911, he pulled around us and took off up the street. I got his license plate.
Funny - I focused so much on the kid and the license plate, that I could not even remember the color or make of the car (and I am usually good at those details). Had I been really thinking, I would have used the camera attached to the phone on my hip to take a picture.
We waited for the police for about 20 minutes, and another 1/2 hour to complete the report. What a day.
Still not sure what is wrong with my brother, they gave him two more units of blood yesterday - total now 5.
I wonder what Wednesday will bring?
