Over here it appears more children are suffering with bad allergies these days. Adults too actually. Is it the same over there?

Asthma has really increased, and I think nut allergy too.

It does seem like way more people have allergies and asthma....I wonder if its enviromental or something....its seems like there are a lot more nut allergies or others than when we were kids.

Still GTY - looks the same each and every time I go and look, and I have been over there a lot today!!!

Our daughter is allergic to nuts. We have to watch really carefully and we have the epi pen also, however now that she is a teenager, it is really much easier since she can tell herself. Lucky for us, she immediately gets sick and her system kicks it right back out.

Nancy sometimes reacts like that if she has something with a minute bit of sulphites in it...but now she can tell with her first taste if there is something wrong with the food...

When she was younger and starting to drink, her lips would go numb. She thoght that was just something that happened when you drank....now we know it was a mild reaction....

Well, if you asked me I would say it all starts to stem from the increase in antibiotic overuse, superbugs and poor digestive systems. Oh, and the increase in pesticides and chemicals used in food production and manufacturing. but those are JMHO......

I do agree with you completely, also adding environmental issues - petrol fumes etc.

My daughter too has a severe nut allergy. It is listed on the online forms you fill out when buying a southwest airline ticket. So her ticket will say Peanut dust allergy and they will offer people pretzels instead. I think if people ever had to see someone they love stop breathing, turn blue then pass out needing to be resussitated (especially a child) they would have a little more compassion for those of us who deal with these allergies in our children.

We often have to tell people, you know the nut allergy, the one where people can die, that is the some for the sulphite allergy...then they understand

Hey everyone....
My good friends kid (who aspires to be an actor) went down to LA for an audition yesterday and got a CALL BACK for tomorrow. His experience has been call backs equal jobs! Keep your fingers crossed...this is a big movie starring Bruce Willis! He and his mom are so excited, as are we. He is in the Wall E movie this summer but he isn't sure what his part was. He had to wear a red rubber suit with tubes all over it and do his parts in front of a green screen. They didn't explain if they were animating him or what. Anyways, I am just bursting with joy for him. This is what he's wanted to do since he was little. He got a tv movie on hallmark when he was in 1st grade and after that his mom said that if he wanted to continue he had to go to public school and not private school, because they were pulling him so much to go to auditions. He chose to go to public because (and say this like a 7 year old) this is what I want to do....

I'll let you know how it ends up, but keep your fingers crossed.

How horrible. Per the webpage they aren't even really giving refunds, you have to do the work to get your money back. Hope you can help them. Hopefully no one here has planned on flying with them.
