Here is another for one daniel that I eluded to before. Nothing too fancy with this one. In fact it is very plain, but it does have a bowling mickey on it.

Sorry it isn't that good, guess my mind just isn't into it tonight.

I actually have some good news to post! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Our DS, Mike, has decided to attend Duke Law School this fall. He didn't get into Stanford, and NYU didn't offer him any money, but Duke offered him a scholarship. I was rooting for Duke the whole time! His dad and I are so happy! He is onlly 10 hours away!    (sorry west coasters, but CA is just SO FAR AWAY!).:yay:

John1,

Here is wishing the best for your brother and yourself. At least he is where they can do the most good for him and it won't help your family if you run yourself into the ground. Just take things as they come and do the best that you can, no one could do more than that. ;)

beginning of another week. I am determined to eat well and exercise this week! I swam quite a bit yesterday and was hoping to swim this am, but will just do it this evening.
I brought my zero point soup for lunch...yum! (not)

Are you heating your pool? We didn't heat ours this winter and it's still COLD!!!!!! I don't think we'll bother heating until we get back from the cruise. :3dglasses

Well, no time to catch up again . . . I've had a bit of a day.

Just when I was catching up this morning my brother called - he was supposed to go back to work today after break (he is a teacher) - and his feet were so swollen he could not even get his shoes on. He has extreme fear of doctors and hospitals, and I had been trying to talk him into seeking medical care for over a week.

I got him to call off work, make a doctor's appointment, and then I had to take him to the appointment. I had to drop him and leave him because I could not leave the office for so long a time.

My brother is extremely obese, and he looked ashen. He had difficulty even walking to and getting in my car. I think I have mentioned that my father lives with him.

Later in the afternoon he called to tell me I had to take him to the ER, he was retaining fluid, but they were afraid to give him medication without tests. The whole way to the ER he was freaking out on me - I thought I was going to have to slap him to get him to calm down.

I got him to the ER, got him admitted, and had to go home to get Sophia and my son dinner (who had brought some friends to watch the game). Can you say Olive Garden carryout? I had to calm down my dad, get his medication ready for him, and keep answering his calls wondering what was happening. Can you say 85 year old man with time on his hands?

He just called a little bit ago. He was admitted. He is anemic, and they were giving him 3 units of blood. He thinks he will be released tomorrow (who knows?). Meantime, I have to get to my dad's in the morning again to get his medicine ready for him. Take him lunch, take him dinner.

Oh yeah, and I have this job that keeps getting in the way. Now, what would have happened if this happened on May 11th? I know many of you are in similar positions with family - we should all say prayers for each other.

Poor Amy is dealing with my frustration half the world away, even though she gets to sit by a pool and have her feet massaged. I barraged her with email during the day because there is no one else to talk tol

Anyway - miss you guys - wish I had more time to spend, but it is bed time for Sophia!

John I am so sorry..I am so there with you.....the kids really have been feeling neglected....it was my mom today....doctors....then tomorrow Frank to the doctor......Frank again on Thursday....

Keep you head up...I keep telling myself how wonderful this vacation will be as I really will need it!!

I will pray for you and your family.....(maybe not Amy if she keeps getting those massages!!:lmao: :lmao: )

. . . The idea that somone would behave in such a way in a "Disney" enviroment is unthinkable to me.

. . . I would not sleep out overnight to get Jacinda a pin or any other souvenir for that matter.
The guy really spoiled it for many guests.

That your kids collect memories rather than stuff is admirable.

Hey everybody! So here's a crazy thing. I get home tonight, completely determined I'm going to cancell my AT&T internet service, and it decides to start working again tonight! :rotfl: Good grief! So I might as well take advantage of using it while it decided to work and will cancel next time it goes out on me. :lmao:

You threatened it!!!

John I know what this is like...

My uncle was the same way... I know it is frustrating trying to take care of everything all at once.

Do your best - and take time for yourself...even if it is a few minutes to take a deep breath.

We're here... :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

John1-sorry about your brother:grouphug: Hope everything gets better:hug:

Ken- you were working hard on those door magnets...they all look great...the DISers will be decorating the ship with those...well at least our doors:rolleyes1

Nan- loved all the pix you all looked like you had a great time...what a fun way to celebrate your birthday...we now all need to celebrate on the cruise too:goodvibes

Lisa-hang in there with Frank and everyone....this cruise will be here soon and you deserve the time to relax with "you time"....for once:hug:

It was WONDERFUL to have you in Dland. I think we are ALL OCD enough to let it go and I for sure will Dland with you again...(ha we aren't in the same car, easy for me to say!)

Taylor is a joy. I'm so glad we went out at night together just me and Marr with her, because I now feel like she likes me too ;) I'll be sure to send her a thank you for making sure I got that cake in Storytellers Cafe.

Enjoy your PAID vacation, us self employeed slobs don't have that luxury, glad my DH is working for us today :lmao:

We'll talk about our 5th plans soon, wow that's this weekend, I better do my clothes check before that huh! I think I need undies, outlet good place to shop for those, ok TMI....:scared1:

We are going into the park shortly and riding Nemo and SHOPPING!!!! What a great Bday :cool1:

I'll check back in tonight from the couch, don't talk about me (unless it's really funny)

I really had a great time with both Nan (and sis) and Steph plus all the kids. I would do Disneyland again with everyone no problem! I think we all may be OCD but we are all also laid back enough to go with the flow and compromise. The kids had great fun and I know Jacinda is really looking forward to seeing the girls again and soon.
She thinks everyone is nice and a great friendly bunch and she is right. :)

Looking at the Cruiseline formal ordering page, I am presuming the shirt seam length is the inside seam?
The shirt measurements are neck and sleeve length.

For example "16-33" is 16 neck, and 33 sleeve length (measured from the center of the back of the collar, across the shoulder, then down to the cuff).

OMG:scared1: :scared1: Just saw my ticker!!! 25 days until we leave Australia!!!! Actually it is 24 as the ticker is in US time!!!
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

Are you the first people to get crazy about packing or are you getting ready by now????

Hey nan...molly was a joy on the ride home. The girls were laughing it up in the back. Your husband is AMAZING!...what a treasure you have! AND, my daughter hit me up for dland after the cruise, which I promptly shot down..thanks! Have fun today.

Yes Taylor did say she heard us talking about going after the cruise and wanted to know if they could go. To which Steph replied NO. Taylor is too good a kid to whine so she just accepted it. We will have to work on Steph a bit more to sway her.
