This sounds like me. I don't like the taste of alcohol either, in anything. My DH says the same thing about coke and beer but the he drinks far more beer than I drink coke so ...:rotfl2: :lmao:

Carol

Although a diver on our boat this weekend had a cute tee-shirt...Beer - costs less than gas.....Don't drive, drink....

I don't really have anything tropical for the girls....John has a ton of Hawaiian shirts....and I have a tropical looking dress. I went to Dillard's and the coverups were outrageous...$68! That's insane! I am hoping to drop a few pounds and then take my gift card on my shopping spree....!

Hi there, just a quick check in. 250 pages behind, my busiest time of the year at work with cookies and all, and DD is dance competitions, so really really busy. Probably won't be able to be looking everyday for at least another week or so.

But here is a picture of Jamie during dance competition where her team won first place for her division overall this last weekend!

WOW... such talent!!! :yay:

what kind of events do they do at the adult pool? I was looking at pictures and saw something like putt putt...do they do anything else? I don't think anything is listed in the Navigators either....are these impromptu?

They're all impromptu......there's something like trivia dunk.....and other wild things that are very funny that I can't exactly remember.

Having no kids, I've never been to any other pool except the adult pool. It's usually very lively and fun.

One more thing, is there a patch or any embroidering to note that it is from DCL:confused: Thanks for the heads up:thumbsup2 about the frame.

Vicki:flower3:

Yes the DCL logo is on the front left. The robe is quite large. DH is 6'4'' and he was covered. It closed with a belt tie.

A GREAT BIG Thank you to who ever recommended the CompudayPack.

DD came home yesterday for a few minutes and saw the pack I had ordered. She was tickled pink. It fit her 17' mac pro. It was a little snug, but she was okay with that. It will be perfect for schlepping throught the airport with her laptop and camera stuff for her trip to Utah.

Thanks again,
Cork

Has anyone stayed at Caribbean Beach....the pool will be closed before our cruise....should I stay here? I have never stayed at this resort and have always wanted to.....

Would rather stay at Boardwalk....but not available all weekend...

The Old Port Royale feature pool will be under refurbishment from Jan 7 through mid-September 2008. There are six other pools available, and waterslides for children are being added at the Barbados and Jamaica village pools. In addition, enhanced children's recreation activities will be offered during the refurbishment.

We stayed here before and liked it. It is very laid back and relaxing. The pool is ok, thee food court is good. However it is very spread out. I would stay here again except we LOVE Pop Century and its cheap. This time we get to stay at the Dolphin. I am very excited as it is free!!!!

Mrs. Woody loves to scrapbook. Just ask Jackie/ibounce too.

Are you coming to the April 19 DISmeet?

Woody
Me too!!! I love scrapbooking, my mom and I try to get together once a week but normally shop more than scrap. Is she doing the scrapbook class?

Disneylover5,

Here is the replacement magnet for Daniel. This time with the proper colours that Pj recommended.

Hopefully he likes it.

Calling all the LA people - We will have a flight from LAX on Thursday at 12pm. What time should we leave the DL hotel? We will have our boarding pass already but will need to check luggage. Thanks!

I agree that it should be mentioned in the getting started. I did not hear about this until I had been going for over a year and a member was talking about the new Zero point soups. I did buy some and kind of figured it out myself when I read that the can is 2 servings. And who really eats a 1/2 can anyway. I dont. Thats also one of the things I like about the etools. It will do the calculations for 2 srvgs for you and it does not come out as zero.

It always makes me mad when food manufacturers manipulate the nutritional information via serving size.

I was Trader Joe's a couple of weeks ago and they had some really nice looking carrot-ginger bran muffins. There were 4 muffins in the package. I get out my electronic points calculator and do the math and they're about 3 points. "Not bad", I think! Then I look at the serving size and each muffin was considered 2 servings. I almost threw the muffins across the store.

Who would buy a package of 4 muffins and think not think that a muffin equaled a serving. How dare they try to make the muffin look "healthier" by bizarre portion manipulation. Why not just make the muffins smaller and put 8 of them in a package.

It's like those little juice bottles. If you read the label, there are 3 servings in those.

The Progresso soups are not bad for 1.5 points. A nice snack, but again, who would just have 1/2 can of soup?

I know what you mean! Down here a few years ago there was a HUGE fiasco with Big Daddy ice cream....it was a new product that was 2 points for the WHOLE thing (ben and jerry's size container).....our WW was next to a Publix and they were smart, anything new (product wise) we talked about they would put all the WW finds on an endcap...but the ice cream was found to have lied on the nutritional info....
Funny thing, I lost every week when I ate those Big Daddy's!:woohoo: and the strawberry was awesome!

Hey everybody! So here's a crazy thing. I get home tonight, completely determined I'm going to cancell my AT&T internet service, and it decides to start working again tonight! :rotfl: Good grief! So I might as well take advantage of using it while it decided to work and will cancel next time it goes out on me. :lmao:

we got home, I swam laps in the pool while the girls played. I ate my 0 pt soup for dinner and John made fajitas for him and the girls.
