They have that jersey on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame for Vancouver. I thought it was their newest, obviously I did not read the caption. Hey I was there to learn about printers and supplies.

Pj

The crest I showed earlier with the hockey stick was from the 70's and was the Canucks' original logo. The Canucks have sorta readopted it the past couple of years because it is quite popular.

The 1914-1915 Millionaires jersies were just a big V with "Vancouver" inside of the V. Here is a pic of the 1914-1915 team:

Today, the Canucks use the "Free Willy" logo as their main one with the word "Vancouver" above it.

Anybody ordering any stateroon gifts for embarkation?

I know a few have ordered flowers. I am thinking of the 'Romance'(haha) basket just so I don't have to bring a robe with me.

Does anyone know if you can order flowers for any time other than on embarkation?
I'd quite like some for our anniversary on the 17th but don't want them on the 10th.

We ordered it on our last cruise. We were very happy with the robes. We'll be bringing them with us. Just remember to allow for room to pack them up when you come home.

Would you please tell me what material these robes are made of. There isn't a very good description on the cruise website. My DH and I are going to be celebrating our anniversary:love: during the cruise and I thought this package would be a nice surprise:). It's also quite economical at just $91(or was it $92). Thanks!

I think they are made on land and delivered to the ship on day one. I don't know how it works for the weddings, but maybe they can work it the same way, to allow for a later delivery.

:lmao: Even i am not old enough to remember the 1914 Vancouver team:rotfl:
Explain to me again.....why Vancouver and I think Dallas...have to have their city names on their jerseys....ahhhh yes...memories of the glowing puck are rushing back to me......to help those non fans identify their team.....

Wow! Congrats to Jamie! Did you snap that picture or was it a professional one? That is some great photography either way:thumbsup2 She looks like she is having a great time.

Our Canon Digital Rebel on the sports mode. Love the camera!

My new camera has a kids and pets mode, lol. Wonder how that would work at a dance compo.

Linda - great photo! Did she perform a solo?

Was suppose to Friday night, but she backed out and went to prom with an "older boy" instead.

Her next competition is this Fri/Sat. she will be doing her solo then. Friday night sometime probably, then 6 group dances on Sat. She is an overachiever.

right near the bottom of the Measurement Information section. It asks for Neck and Sleeve measurements. (Located right after Customer information)

Sleeve measurement would be the outer sleeve. "Sleeve Measurement: Bend elbow slightly. Measure from center of neck (backside) to your shoulder, down to the elbow, and down to your wrist."

Line 6 is what you need to measure:
clfw_measurements_img.gif

For instance, my neck is 16.5 and my sleeve is 34/35

Hope that helps.

We went to Men's Wearhouse when we first rented our tux on the ship for Robert. Got his measurements there and then used those and the tux fit great.

It is a cotton waffle weave. The best way I can describe the weight of the fabric is to compare it to my Levi dockers.

We had the same package. The only disappointing thing was the frame. At the time we received it, it was just a plain 8 x 10 silver frame. I understand they now have a DCL logo on it. Careful packing it, the glass broke on ours in our luggage.

Don't feel bad Steph, we have to go straight home from the ship too. We both enjoyed meeting you all yesterday. Glad you made it home safetly. Did you get out of going to toontown?

Oh yea..no toontown here. We did jungle cruise, alladins oasis and then home. It was great to meet you too. Look forward to the cruise....

I need to experiment with my camera....I am sure it has lots of features that I know nothing about!

No he would not... His wife would be down at guest services complaining about the guy who was looting the store. Of course I probably would have wheeled the empty wheel chair out of the way also.

I so agree here. I have no problem asserting myself if it is the right thing to do. Would I move little kids out of the way so I can buy a special pin NO WAY. Would I make sure to move a grown man out of the way so little kids could........... you bet.

Every Friday and Saturday a bunch of folks gather with their dancing shoes and a live band and also pretaped music (during the band break) plays big band/swing music. There are people from 16-100 who dance, play cards, eat, watch the fireworks. There is a hidden bathroom right there with chairs and tables to the left of the castle. There are people who have been coming since 1955. We go as often as possible and hang out. :dancer:

I would really love to see this, but we want be there that long. Um............maybe I can talk DH into another trip to Disneyland in the future. Once is not enough.

while I would like the pins I would never camp out over night for them, especially when they are more than likely to end up in the closet or drawer.
