A good chunk of tomorrow will be spent will be spent w/ my personal shoppers/consultants Will & Mickey (more Mick). THey are going to help me buy some new duds. I went to the Bealls outlet store yesterday & bought 2 tops & a dress---I get to model for the guys tomorrow and see if I get their approval (after all THEY do need to be seen with ME and I don't want to embarrass them )

You are going to look sooooooo spiffy.....with the new hair and the new duds......WATCH OUT Cruisers!!!! Here Comes Monica!!!!!

Since we're doing airports this trip......John and I were TRYING to go with one check in each and one carry on each. Alas, we have succumbed to bringing 2 check ins each and one carry on each. His extra will be a garmet bag for formals and my extra will be my duffel of fish gifts and tiaras for parties. It just couldn't be helped.

That is really a good thing, Deb. You will have that duffel to bring stuff you gather along the way home.

Yeah, I'll be doing two check-ins also. Hopefully the large and medium suitcase....not two large! I didn't want to take the full size carry on also, as three wheeling bags is problematical (though the new ones do hook together). I just wanted to take my shoe tote on the plane. Well, we'll see what happens as I tweek the packing and decide how many presents to bring along.

It's such a long trip, with so many occasions, it's hard to keep things at a minimum......but then, how much can one carry too????

Ok so I have had a stressful week. My grandmother went down hill, my uncles keep calling about my insane dad, and my stepdad fell. My grandparents are coming home tomorrow and I was supposed to clean my house this week but instead I have been making door sign and planning the cruise. Tomorrow I am going to a Disney Scrapbook class.

Here are a few signs I made this week:

Last one, I didn't make this one. Someone else did but I plan on adding our names and room # on it. I left it blank b/c its so cute.

The plans are set, but I don't know them all yet. I am flying from Portland to Spokane Wed after work. Short 1 hr flight that will save me a long 6 - 7 hr drive. Thursday I will get hooked up with my uncle and we will fly to Philadelphia, We return Sunday and don't get into Spokane until 10:30, so I will not be flying back to Portland until Monday morning. I do not know where we are staying. My cousins wife's sister is making all the travel arrangements. I am a bit anxious with that. Control freak.... My uncle said "they" will meet us at the airport. Not sure who "they" are, likely my cousins wife and/or her sis I would think. The Portland to Spokane and back piece are all I scheduled myself. I would have gotten us on an earlier flight on Sunday if I had a choice. My uncle is 82 and I am sure that he will be really tired by 11 at night. I will be staying with a very good friend of DrHug and I in Spokane the night before and night after the flight. My uncle will stay with me the night after as well. He said he will get all the info by mail either today or Monday so I will know where I am staying etc then. I will feel better knowing more. Thanks for thinking of me.

Oh Angie, it's going to be a hard and hectic long weekend for you. I'll be thinking of you every day that you're there (or here)! My offer still stands, if you find you need a break or a good listener you call me. I'm going to PM you my cell phone number. I don't live far from where you'll be. Hang in there! Will keep you in our prayers also. I understand life getting in the way of cruise plans right now. Just over a month though and we will be floating away from it all, and will not even be available by phone. Imagine!

She is reluctant to go because you actually have to take the last part of the trip to the island in some kind of sea canoe. All it would cost her to go next weekend is the airfare - $100.

I told her I want to trade places!

Your uncle sounds just like my favorite uncle.....they could be related. It just breaks your heart to see them suffer when they are the last to deserve it after everything they give. How aweful. I hope that he finds his answers and gains some peace. I will pray that he does.

Deb...your post cracked me up! I am thinking of going with the dancing fool approach for the night, but I think I will end up wearing a different dress I could try and really focus and start exercising like Lisa but I know I won't as I am in a lazy phase right now........
