The packing cubes make it easy to get organized.

Woody

Now, I don't really pack organised if you know what I mean. Undies and socks in shoes, things tucked here and there. Never seems to be spaces for rectangular or square packages. I did wonder about those plastic bags you roll the air out of to squeeze everything flatter though.

Nan- Molly looks great with the haircut:thumbsup2 It looks so cute....I thought it was going to be shorter...

Loved the Sydney pictures:lovestruc

MakingMemories-thanks for the help with the champagne....if you need a lighter load...I don't drink much so you could cut down on what was meant for me:goodvibes I only put myself down as a taster just because I may be in that rare mood to have more than a couple sips and may actually want to taste:confused3

while I am bummed that we can't check the water or other things at the port I am glad to hear that we can still bring aboard the spirits!

I found a formal for us! I hope this works. As you can tell I am horrible at posting pictures.

. . . here is the creepy part, I hit the link and could go to your photobucket account page and see all you pictures. Not sure if everyone can do this, I think they can.

So be very careful what you post and not personal info of course in photobucket.
Good advice.

Woody

Nan, Molly has done a lovely thing there and looks fab, she really does. I think a lot of girls go for shorter styles around that age, and then grow their hair again. Most teen girls have long hair. She has a lovely heart to do this.

yes I agree and thank you.

Molly's new "do" is indeed beautiful.

Did she donate to locks of love - I missed that part if you posted...

YUP, she has wanted to do this for 2 years and felt ready now...I heard of your walk last week and was thinking it's in the air :thumbsup2

Some clothing questions.

John is going to rent a tux and bring his suit. The shoes he normally wears with his suit are the type of leather that doesn't shine however long you buff them, so I presume he would need to rent the tux shoes. Will he still need to bring his normal black shoes for his suit? If I can get him to buy some black, more shiny(but not patent:eek: ) shoes, would these do for the tux so he wouldn't have to rent those? He does have problems with shoes fitting.

Marilyn,

I would not worry about it too much. You will see most anything :confused3 on formal night so John doesn't need to worry about renting a tux if he doesn't want to and if he does I doubt if anyone will pay much attention to his shoes. (Crocs have some nice shoes in black) :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: ;) A nice suit and comfortable shoes would work just fine. I am sure you both will look wonderful in whatever you decide to to wear.

he can pair with me - I will be in a long gown and barefoot. I hate shoes....

Lovely dresses. Who's who?

:lmao: John has black crocs for slippers and loves them so I had better not suggest this!

Woody,

Interested in knowing more about why you find the cubes useful. How do you use them?
Ian, my packing starts with a Pack-It Folder for shirts and pants. PackingFolders
This lets me pack more clothes in less space, and dramatically reduces wrinkling.

Other items (socks, t-shirts, underwear) go into packing cubes. I'll also use a packing cube for electronics, rechargers, and an extension cord.

The folder and cubes help me keep organized.

They work great however there is one draw back with them. They make it way to easy to go over the 50# weight limit when you pack the bag.

Think we may have our "NO SHIPPING" problem under control. Ordered 2 Big Rig 30's last night. They are supposed to be very light and when packed full weigh out under the 50#. Plus they will fit under the bed without much trouble. This is from info that fellow DISers have put on the board. Will post our results once they arrive. We also ordered some mesh packing cubes to go with the bags. That should make things easier if they decide to go through the bags for inspection.

kinda creepy that I did that huh? I think (not sure if this is true) that once you post a picture a person can quote it and it will show you the link to their photobucket account. With yours I saw the link in the first post you tried and could tell that it had more stuff in it that didn't need to be there and that was why it wasn't posting correctly. So, I copied and cut some of the stuff, but that didn't exactly work, here is the creepy part, I hit the link and could go to your photobucket account page and see all you pictures :scared1: Not sure if everyone can do this, I think they can. So be very careful what you post and not personal info of course in photobucket...I'll ask my friend on another thread tomorrow, she is pretty photobucket savvy. She may know how to block others from seeing your stuff. If I find out I'll let ya know. btw, nice pictures on your photo bucket (not that I looked  )

Yes call me creepy I went to look at the picture and did look at her pictures on Photobucket too. They do have the option to set your pictures to public or private. I have ones set to public that I will be sharing and other are private for just me.

For what its worth, Photobucket is inherently NOT secure. Even if you have your photos password protected, once you post one of them, it is relatively easy to see others in the account and there are programs on the net that will help you "hack" others accounts. . .
Good advice, Tom.
