Hey Susie, we are having a book drop at our door too.
We could do a book drop at one the four cabins we have, maybe be able to spread it through the ship?

Some clothing questions.
John is going to rent a tux and bring his suit. The shoes he normally wears with his suit are the type of leather that doesn't shine however long you buff them, so I presume he would need to rent the tux shoes. Will he still need to bring his normal black shoes for his suit? If I can get him to buy some black, more shiny(but not patent) shoes, would these do for the tux so he wouldn't have to rent those? He does have problems with shoes fitting.
I did not think one could return a swimsuit.

I had a teacher conference today and I forgot I was bidding on four things that ended today. Lost ALL four that really bothers me. They sold for way less then I was willing to pay but oh well off to find other things.![]()

Ian, my packing starts with a Pack-It Folder for shirts and pants. PackingFolders
This lets me pack more clothes in less space, and dramatically reduces wrinkling.
Other items (socks, t-shirts, underwear) go into packing cubes. I'll also use a packing cube for electronics, rechargers, and an extension cord.
The folder and cubes help me keep organized.

No.

Alex just wears his black leather cowboy boots with his tux. He feels that no one is going to be looking at shoes when he has the tux on.
Marilyn,
I would not worry about it too much. You will see most anythingon formal night so John doesn't need to worry about renting a tux if he doesn't want to and if he does I doubt if anyone will pay much attention to his shoes. (Crocs have some nice shoes in black)

A nice suit and comfortable shoes would work just fine. I am sure you both will look wonderful in whatever you decide to to wear.

My hubby won't be wearing a tux at all. I can hardly coerce him into a suit, and he draws the line at a tie, he wears a mock turtle neck shirt with his suit. I also have trouble getting him out of comfy shoes.....no shiny ones for him!
I think the guys look so nice in there formal wear!
Connie
Did you see this over on the 'magnetic door signs' thread?

It was used last PC crossing and the poster took their printing off so you can put your own on if you wanted.

The butterfly farm excursion. Does that only go to the butterfly farm, or does it go somewhere else? We would be interested in that excursion if it only did the butterfly farm.
.
Marilyn, I don't even have to watch it, is it the Japanesse folding method? If so, I love it and use it every time I travel.

I ran upstairs for one of DH's shirts and have been trying this out.![]()
Deb what ever you decide is fine. I don't drink so I was just coming for the company!
Ditto for me, I was stopping by the drink fountain on deck 9 and filling up and bringing a diet coke!
