edna mode - actually the lanyards I bought, well the ones I can find aren't the starter sets but the cheapies....and the bottom was a paper card of a princess. I am not sure where are real starter sets are.

What year would the Red Parrot have been? I graduated HS in 1973 and I moved to Chicago in 1983.

I remember Studio 54 (of course).

I graduated HS in 1974 so you're about a year older than me. The Red Parrot days were probably 1977-80 sometime around there.....I think it became Emerald City afterwards. Of course, I remember Studio 54 too.....but never got in there. How about the Limelight.....it was a church converted into a dance club. Wild. I got in there on halloween one time with my DH so that was years later. Oh how about the Paladium, I've been there too.....that was kind of inbetween the earlier and the later dates. The good old days clubbing in NYC.

Then we did the first and second avenue bar hopping. I lived on 82nd and first and we used to go to a place all the time on the corner called the Mad Hatter. Then on the west side, near a friends house was the Museum Cafe right across the street from The Museum of Natural History......old memories filled with cobb webs now. Anything sound familiar to you. Where did you used to go out in NYC at the time?

I asked this earlier but I think it was missed. Am I right in thinking that there was mention of a 3 PM Dis Meet in Promenade Lounge on Embarkation Day or did we scratch that? Can't find anything about it on PJ's calendar or web site.

No problem, I just remember being in the Promenade with 100 dis'ers and I can't imagine trying to getting 300 in there if they all show up!

Guess we'll just squeeze together! We could always use the overflow in the atrium.

I wonder if we could just use the space in Studio Sea if nothing is going on in there. Of course, we wouldn't know for sure until we got on board. But it would be easy to post a sign at the Promenade to go to Studio Sea.

Studio Sea would be great. I don't think I have ever seen it in use before the drill. The only person I have seen in there is a CM polishing the floor. I think that would work out even better if we can use it.

If we can't use Studio Sea maybe we will just have to give the things out and hope that people move on and all actually get together at the sailaway.

Here's the Disney site for pins... I think they are @ $10 unless they are limited... You can get them at the pin store at DTD...

Good afternoon everyone! So, the report back on my day AFTER fitness boot camp..... Well, my legs feel ok and my arms for the most part do too. BUT what really hurts are my pec muscles, all the way up my neck, my shoulders, my sides, waist and abdomen. OMG! I feel muscles I didn't even know I had. Tomorrow is my next class, and believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to it!
