Oh I like these and they work with my cuttlebug too.

Is that the one you hook up to your computer and it cuts just about anything? If so it looks awesome and someone on thte scrapbook board has one and does amazing work too. Unfortunatle we don't have a great computer or a computer in my scrapbook room.

Yes, that's the one. And you can download right from Quick Kutz website (you pay for it) and you can get the images without going to the store!

Also, it will use any TRUE TYPE font, so my co-hort has the Waltograph font and a pirate font she has just downloaded and she is going to give it a try and see how it works!

OK, I get the whiteboard part.....who do I contact when I get a room assignment at the terminal so that everyone will get the message on the white board and know where I am.

I will print the mini-nav's at the last possible minute before leaving for FLorida, so hopefully, I will have everyone's stateroom numbers in the min--nav and the only changes will be last minute upgrades (if any are available)

So my room (7043) which is midships right behind the midships stairs would be a good spot??

Yes, that is a good spot.

I have heard great thinks about Dysons but my current vaccun is made like a dyson and I hate it. It has a canister too and thats the part I broke. THe canister hardly ever opens on its own and I have to take out the filter b/c of the cat hair to empty it. The top part also comes off mine and it is too hard to clean. Also Ihave to empty it outside as it get every where. So I don't know if I shold get a Dyson or not. We are going to try a bunch at the stores and see. I think I am cursed when it comes to vaccums!

I just read the reviews for my vaccum and they all say get a Dyson instead. So which one is best and recommendations?

We have Dyson "full access" and it has been great so far.

Not one of mine but I remembered this from his posting it at the "Rivervet" sight some time back.

.

John, thanks so much for sharing that.

Had to ask are you chatty in person?

He's a delight! AND a good hugger. and so is Mrs Woody!

Also, can anyone tell me if I can use my Aunt's Disney Visa Rewards on my Onboard account. She didn't get to spend it when we were down cause her card wasn't working properly. I told her I'd buy it off her if I can put it on my account...anyone have a suggestion?

You can have her call in and 'buy' and OBC for you with it. She'll need your reservation number. There is also a fax you can send doing the same thing. It's somewhere on the DCL site and possibly on the DIS Cruise main page.

Jackie... you have front row!!! Want a drink while you're watching????

Yes, please. A BBC ::yes::

That would be great if they did!

noooooooo....it means late seating will all be 8:30 (I really, really, really want 8pm). OK...I'll survive.

I did some checking and found a one-way, non-stop (my Frontier had one stop w/a couple hrs. layover) on US Air for $103! :cool1: I'm so excited! I leave PHX at 9 a.m. and get into MCO at 4:30! My Frontier flight left at 6:30 a.m. This is so much better and it's cheaper, too!

Oh yeah, no crack of dawn flight! Hmmmm, perhaps you should just stay with me the night before and I'll drop you at the airport since I have to work that day. Let's discuss......

Yup we are staying at Candy Cane Inn.

Did you see I marked it on the map for you?

Well, kids, I left work after only two hours this morning. Digestive issues. Came home, took a dose of medicine only to discover it expired in Jan of '06!! Thankfully Peg was able to make a run for me and drop off some new stuff! I THINK this is a food related issue (large portion, rare steak) and NOT SICIKNESS! I'm heading off for a nap and then have to do a final bit of pick-up before the house cleaning crew gets here tomorrow.

When I got home this morning, they yard guys were just fininshin up...my tiny yard looks twice as big now!

...alrighty, nap time...

.

Isn't this cute?

It looks really cool but is too expensive for me. I really like that is will cut any font and you can convert any image. I love my cricut but would love to be able to make things for the rides. Paper piecing is hard.

Thanks for doing that, I was very excited to see it and how close it was on the satellite view. I even clicked in on it and followed how we will walk over to DL.

I hope you feel better soon.

I'm sorry, but I'm really having a hard time understanding this process. Noel was going to be the keeper of the master list and then phone the deck monitors with changes to keep everyone current. I know you'll have the mini navigator with as current info as possible. But what happens when my stateroom starts flooding on day 3 and I get moved somewhere else. Who do I contact to let them know so that when the fish teams are giving out gifts I don't get missed. Don't we need a keeper of the master list that everyone with a room change can contact. If so, Susie/luv2cruzsus has already volunteered to do this job.

and me, March 30th:goodvibes

Hey - that is Shawn's birthday too!! Did I mention he is going to be turning 40 years old!!! (That is for his benefit - it is killing him!)

WOW! We might visit St. Kitts in '09. Would love to hear more onboard.

Woody

We stopped in St Kitts on the 11 day Southern. We loved it! It is a beautiful, quite island. We went to a beach on our own and there were Monkey's running all over the beach. We even fed some wild Mongoose (pl?). Sugar plantations are abundant - guess that's why they produce such good rum (did I mention Brinleys Gold rum - it is yummy)!

Well I can't believe that no one in this group has booked their shuttle from the port in LA as of yet.

So what time did everyone else book it for?

Marilyn and I are both requesting some assistance, please. Pretty please with smarties on top....

I asked the same question at least a dozen times...We finally settled on a limo ($89) to the HoJos.....now I can relax

I said to meet us at 10:30...(and I am sure they will check and get a better idea before they come down to get us

Where are you skiing and staying?

We are staying at the Moose Hollow Condos in Eden (close to Ogden). We actually were able to reserve the same condo we stayed in for my family reunion this past July. My brother is stationed at HAFB. He has a home in Ogden, but also has a condo up at Moose Hollow. We really fell in love with Eden. We are thinking of buying his condo if he ends up buying my parents beach house in Port Hueneme. Anyway . . . . .

The plan right now is to ski at Powder Mountain on Friday and Snowbasin on Saturday. One of Shawn's friends is taking him Heli-skiing at Powder for his birthday present. I think this is a crazy idea, but he is very excited. We are really looking forward to this trip. Only 16 more days!

My request was added on Sunday.:)

Great we are now all on the same page! :cool1:

I am so boring...no shopping, no packing, no checklist. I will wear whatever I have here and pack one day ahead of time. That gives me a day to throw in things that I had forgotten to pack. I don't stress too much about packing. Of course I don't have kids to pack for so that makes it a lot easier. And I make DH pack his own. We have never forgotten anything important and I figure if we do forget something we can always purchase what we need.:goodvibes

Donna

Funny story about packing. When my DH and I got married we went on a cruise for our honeymoon. We waited until our wedding day to pack. I wouldn't let him come back to the house until after I left so I had his daughter pack his suitcase and I packed mine. Skip forward to the next day on the ship and unpacking. My DH had everything he needed but I looked and went oh,oh. I had packed formals and shorts but had nothing but the pants outfit I had on for dinners. Luckily the second night was a formal night and the third day we were in Nassau. To say the least I took my new DH shopping. This was not my first cruise and my DH has never let me live it down. He always quizzes me about having clothes for dinner. :lmao: :rotfl:

Do I remember right or did I dream this? Did we discuss having a 3 PM Dis Meet in the Promenade lounge the day we embark? If so can it be put on the calendar and web site for those that might miss the posts?

You either call the person who is the master list holder or you go to each door and change them yourself. Anyone can post anything on these boards, even a quick hello or meet me at scoops. Or you can call the people who have the boards on their door and they'll change it for you. You can look in the mini navigator and the list will be there so you can call them yourself. Does that help?

We start throwing our things in a pile a few days before we leave. Put them in suitcases over the last 2 days. Finish up with the toiletries the morning we leave.

Hi Donna, I need a new vaccum cleaner, also. What type of Dyson do you have?

We have a Dyson. The only thing I know about it (other than having paid for it) is that it's red.

Deb - don't worry, what I have always done when handing stuff out was go deck to deck looking for fish extenders...which is what I plan to do this time as well!:thumbsup2

We all have to remember to keep it simple - it is vacation!

I've never gone to the adult pool (in 3 cruises). I'm definitely going to make it this time! More sea days mean more opportunities for lounging. I intend to lounge, but I seem to end up doing things.;)

Isn't Quiet Cove adults only? Or do they not really enforce that?

I believe Steve's boys are both in their early 20's.

I'm pretty sure most will get room assignments before we get to the port. Lots of us were CAT12 GTY last Dec (the price was great!) and we all got assignments about 30 days out. It will be fine. Really.:goodvibes
