Ah, you know you are getting close when one of the suitcases is declared full and zipped up....I had to measure it 4 ways come Sunday to finally figure out if it fell withing the 62 total inches. It's amazing how your brain just will not work after 9 pm at night doing simple math...17 + 27 + 17 = ??????

Now will have to weigh it on our scales....discovered that my weight and the bag....blow over the upper limit on the scale....hmmmmm, the bag must really be heavy:lmao:
....

I heard that you can buy fish weighing scales at the fishing dept. at Walmart to weigh your lugage with.......I need to buy one!

Important Change:
Onboard Smoking Policy
For the comfort and enjoyment of our Guests, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder have been primarily designated as non-smoking ships. However, it is recognized that some Guests smoke, therefore we have designated smoking areas which include many of the lounges, portions of open-air decks, and private verandahs.

Effective with the Disney Magic 4/19 and the Disney Wonder 4/20 sailings, an important change regarding these designated smoking areas is going into effect.

Smoking is no longer permitted on the port side of the ship, instead Guests are permitted to smoke on the starboard side, on decks 4, 9, & 10 (outside only and excluding all areas around Mickey's Pool)
Smoking is no longer permitted outside Cove Cafe (as it is on the port side)
A comparable area with tables & chairs will be available to Guests opposite the location of Cove Cafe (starboard side)
Smoking is no longer permitted in ANY indoor venue, such as Cadillac Lounge, Diversions, etc.
Below is a recap of the onboard smoking policy:

Smoking Permitted

Decks 4, 9, & 10 starboard side (outdoors only and excluding all areas around Mickey's Pool)
Deck 9 midship - starboard side - An area with the same types of tables & chairs that can be found around Cove Cafe
Guest's private verandah (Cats 1-7)

Smoking NOT Permitted
All staterooms
Dining rooms, corridors, theatres, children's spaces, or ANY indoor venue (i.e., Cadillac Lounge, Sessions, Rockin' Bar D', Wavebands, etc.)

Outside Cove Cafe
Mickey's Pool
Decks 4, 9, and 10 port side of the ship (outdoors only and excluding all areas around Mickey's Pool)

it is 4' long 1' in height with groments for $34 ($44 with tax and shipping)

maybe you just need a brightly colored border added to it, and you can always put ribbons on the grommets. Connie

Connie

You can buy a scale at any luggage store that is hand held.

Excellent idea....

with Westjet allowing 60 lbs and Air Canada only allowing 50 lbs...we have to be careful:confused3

Westjet charges $40 for either overweight or over size bags....Air Canada charges $50 for overweight and $80 for oversize :scared1:

I got a few packages last night...but nothing from DCL.

I got something I ordered from Amazon, something I won off ebay, plus a pkg that I'm transporting to the port for royalty :-)

Thank you. Never heard of this, although DH and I are both from Roman Catholic families.

As I have heard it in Chicago, you have to bury St. Joseph upside down in your yard.

At risk of being flamed by any smokers ......

On our last cruise, I hated having to pass through the smokers to get into Cove Cafe.

I turn my back for 1 day and there are 100 posts later and a new thread!

The past couple of days have been awful at work. One crisis after another. I have been working from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and getting home around 8:00 PM, exhausted.

So I think it has gone from über-poopy to mega-poopy.

I am hoping to be out of the woods after Friday. I can only hope.

May your day be as un poopy as possible!!

Thats the problem with us accountants...no art skills. I'd be more help, but that looks good to me!:rotfl:

That is funny, I am the ultra Accountant, and it looked good to me too! All clean lines, centered, in descending order of importance. Perfect sign! LOL.

she has dementia. She is very forgetful and sometimes arguementative. It's hard to have to be the parent of your parent at the doctors office. Yup it wipes out the rest of my day usually.

I have been seeing how having a parent w/ dementia is affecting my best friend, so I can imagine how you're doing. He's having a really hard time with this, especially since his sister can't be counted on for anything.

Rememeber that we're here to support you how ever we can

On our last cruise, I hated having to pass through the smokers to get into Cove Cafe.

Here in Ottawa, they have gone completely non-smoking for the restraraunts etc....so it is really strange when we travel to the states and get overwhelmed by the smoke

There is nothing worse than walking behind a smoker, who is puffing like a chimney:mad:

(this from an old pipe smoker):rolleyes1

:wave2: Hello Monica!

And everyone else too, of course!
