Hi guys.

Not too much time to post or catch up. Sorry for not acknowledging what I am probably missing. Busy today running between the hospital and my dad's. My brother is out of ICU, feeling a lot of pain, but cracking jokes, so I am happy about his state of mind.

Two more days until Amy comes home, so I am counting the hours.

One post I do have to acknowledge that I did get to read . . . Tammy, one of your posts absolutely put me in tears. Beautiful sentiment, and from the heart. Thank you for sharing, but I did not have a chance to post .

Sounds like Manuel is doing well so soon after surgery. It will help his recovery to have a good spirit.

I bet it seems a much longer time this time that amy has been away - but soon over now.

I so agree with you about comments about Tammy's post.

Yup, he loves making fun of me b/c I can only use Free and clear laundry detergent too. When I try on clothes in a store I get hives. I am allegic to alot of things including purple and blue food coloring too. Also I get horrible posion ivy once a summer and no cream, no even perscription works on me. And I can't wear earrings. But, I LOVE shoes!!!:lmao:

Thank goodness for shoes!

Is it possible the only people you know are on this thread? :rolleyes1 :3dglasses

Seems like it sometimes.

There is one annoying guy at work that has been on a disney cruise, he tries to tell me all kinds of tips and "insider" knowledge. "Man, I have been on four cruises and in the Passporter book three times."

Pj

You've been in the Passporter book 4 times? You're famous.:thumbsup2

I'm really surprised that no one has commented on the big new product coming from the Disney/Apple partnership...

Here's a quote:

I just got wind of the first product from the combined forces of Disney and Apple, and it uses the following ad tag line:
"PUT A THRILL IN YOUR POCKET"

John, I'm sure you'll be the first to have one of these!!!

Signing off for the night! But if I can have good thoughts headed my way I would appreciate it! I'm going to the Dr. in the morning to find out if my nerve damage from my knee surgery is permanent or not! It's been 3 months since my last appt. so I hope he has wonderful news! I'm still doing PT 2 1/2 hours a day so I hope it's helping! But I'm very nervous about it! So probably won't sleep well tonight! So if I have good news you'll hear sometime tomorrow! If not.......

Goodnight now!!!

Best wishes for today(now).

who went on the Med cruise repo in May last year? Connie

Gydell, Seasulter (Linda), and interpreter Brian ;)

Taysmom and I were in July.

I heard that Brian is back for our Cruise:cool1: but another one was very disappointed that she was not pick so I don't know who is another one. I am waiting to hear from du or dlc email.

I think we might wear our Panama Canal t-shirts for the DIS photo. For a family reunion, each family unit wore the same color t-shirt. The photo was pretty cool.

MIL, along with us, decided this wasn't the trip for her. I really appreciate all the advice and support. Although I'm sure it would have been a great trip for her, there were so many unique factors that made it very iffy for us. Thank you all.

So many are going through some hard times right now. A big  and prayers for healing and peace.

Planning galore! Gydell, we want to tag along with you all if it is still an option in ACA. We have our lunch reservations at 1:30pm. I think that works at well! In Aruba, our parents are going to get us a day pass at their Marriott timeshare. In PV & Cabo, we have a hotel room booked at a Starwood hotel. Kids can swim in the pool, play in the beach. I can order fruitty drinks.

Castaway Cay - we will get there early and hang on at the family beach.

SPA - we are going to TRY to make the Couple Villa work out. Depends on cash flow. I have it in the budget now. Also have a Rasual booked. We will probably do one or the other.

PHOTOS - budgeted for the big package of 6x8, and then I think about 10 of the 8x10.

LIMO/VAN - We will have a van or limo pick us up at 9am at the Hyatt. Hope to get a 3 or 4, although if we get our group Palo brunch, no need to rush on that account. That will be great.

POOLS and kids: I respect all the advice. Kim, sorry to hear about your brother. That must have been very traumatic. Our big issue is sometimes the kids may want to split up and be at different pools, and if I'm on my own I can't be at both the Mickey & Goofy pool at the same time. I am leaning towards having the 10 & 8 year old be able to swim together, but only after I check out the pool activity. If it looks crazy at all, then no go. I'm hoping there will be less children on this sailing, so might not be as crazy as normal. Think this is wishful thinking?

FISH EXTENDERS: We are ordering some iron-on decals now. Ian, thanks for posting that info weeks ago.

STAR TESTING: GET THIS! After over a year of dealing with missing STAR testing, they just changed the dates of testing and now my kids will be there! Crazy! Oh well. I still am insisting (not sure if I have the "right" to or not) on no homework. Both boys are doing well, mostly As (2nd grader gets very few "grades"), and I don't want to have them stress about homework. Luckily, the teachers agree.

Ok, that is all my planning for now. Back to reading!

Wow, well organised :thumbsup2

I am back to sewing class today after 2 weeks school holiday close. Try to finish my FE.:thumbsup2

Did I tell you all about the drunk guy in Mexico when we were there last month? He was getting on the last tender (all the guys were just getting of the fishing boat with their catches) and he slipped getting on the tender and fell into the water. I guess the tender was quite tall and they didn't know how to get him back into the boat. It took over 20 minutes to get him into the boat finally....lots of the small panga(?) fishing boats were circling him trying to get him out of the water. He was quite drunk, but luckily not too drunk that he could still swim!

oh blimey:scared1:

Gaylean93 if you want one send me a PM with your details. It would be ready by 11pm tonight.

beautiful:thumbsup2

I'm mostly scared for my packing as I don't think ANY of my summer/spring clothes fit me!! It doesn't help thinking we will have one more baby...trying to motivate to lose weight when you think you will just get big again is very, very difficult! So I focus on my little ones. I got the matching outfits for embark day today. I love them! Here is my little one dressed up. Hard to see it, but you get the idea. Not sure why he is on his tippy toes! Also, got the pirate bathing suits which are very cute! Lisa

I had to take a break from the computer and clean my house, move some dirt...literally..so I didn't even read back, cause you all were typing too much!
BTW...where does one go to "dump" dirt?

Not sure but somehow it ends up at my house......:lmao:

Good morning everybody! Just got up a few minutes ago, have to leave in about 15 minutes. A quick couple posts while Tyler has breakfast and then I'll get a quick shower and we'll rush out. He's so excited because today is the spring break daycare trip to the bowling alley. :goodvibes :cheer2:

Have a great morning everybody! Off for a quick shower while Tyler gets dressed and we'll be out the door in 15 min. :goodvibes

SPRING IS FINALLY HERE

The signs of spring are
we just had our first flood warning,
we can finally see our deck,
I spent 1 hour doing pooh pickup in our back yard

and wait for it

there's a lineup at the Dairy Queen:rotfl:

Thanks....I don't fly enough to be a medallion member so I will be paying the extra $25 ($50 with DH). Truth be told, we still have a good fare and I would have paid it plus the $25. from the get go.

This will be a mess to sort out competative pricing esp. if the service providers can change after you purchase tickets.....

I actually looked at the contract with Delta when we booked. The first paragraph says something like "You agree with with contract and are bound by it at the time you book the tickets".

Then it says "We can change this contract at any time and the only thing you can do about it is get a refund for the ticket price". :headache:

Can't retrieve reservations on DCL!!! Perhaps it is such hard work allocating rooms for us all they have had to take it down!!:lmao:

They have changed the waiting animation to a square with Mickey swimming

I could get on just a minute ago
