Way to go Holly, you got a pirate:

I never would have noticed. I feel bad when that happens because I'd rather it happen to somebody who strives for that honor! ;)

I like when it is a SERENDIPITY PIRATE pirate: and just happens like this one did to Holly. She is just DISing with friends and poof pirate: a surprise. :thumbsup2

Who put the bad idea into my head that maybe we should stay to see DL after the cruise? We've never been. The kids have school Tuesday. I'm afraid it is going to be incredibly crowded by the time we get there on Sun, and we really need to come home Monday at a decent hour. We have DW hopper tickets we could use, what to do?

If you have never been it will be fun to see the Land! I am all for everyone staying and seeing Disneyland holiday weekend or not. I live in California and go a lot but if you have been to the World it would be cool for you to be able to compare them I think.

I was just over on the DCL site and looking at the "Mycruise plans" section

This popped up, I don't remember seeing it before. Has this always been there?

You can reserve cruise activities for all Guests in your stateroom or other staterooms linked to yours. Note that while you are arranging activities in My Cruise Plans, no one else in your stateroom or other staterooms linked to yours will be able to access their reservation.

Hello everyone. I haven't been on in a few days because I was busy with house guests. I am not going to try and catch up so let me know if there is anything important I need to know. My sister text me yesterday saying the trip was only 77 days away. I couldn't believe it. It seems like yesterday was the 100 day mark. But I just figured it out and it is 78 days from today because we are leaving on the 8th. I have bought some clothes and swim suits for the kids so it is all starting to seem real.

well I had never heard of See's candy before this thread....and today, the Controller, who just got back from California....brought us a box of See's lollipops!

Man my kids LOVE those lollipops! They have cute boxes around all the holidays and the kids always get them. Mom has been known to sneak one or two as well. :)

I don't remember ever seeing this. I think this was my problem on that dreadful Sat night, I tried to access linked reservations on different computers and kept getting hung up.

Wow! Was that after this past rain? In all the years that I lived down there, I never saw those mountains look like that!!! I'm surprised my mom hasn't mentioned it...looks amazing...and odd as a backdrop against the water!

These were taken about 2 weeks ago, but it has looked like this for about 2 months. Shocking, huh? Since last year we had 2.5 inches of rain, so we hardly saw any snow on the mountains.

I've tracked down the one I read - 'Pemberley' by Emma Tennant (1993).

From a quick Google search, it looks like there have been several sequels written.

Thanks for that.

So this means we can't book excursions at the same time. We aren't even doing any of the same things as the other people we're linked to. Will they will have to book our excursions that they aren't even going on?

You are pretty close, AAA rates for GC $325, DL $266, PP $216, HoJos way way less.

I can't pull the kids from school another day and feel good about it, two are missing 10.5 days and the oldest one is missing 5.5.

I don't think this is a once in a lifetime. I could make DL happen another time if we really wanted to, but from CO we always think may as well go to FL and really do Disney. But we will be right there...

AAA rates! Geez I am an AP holder at Disneyland (I am in Cali) and stay there all the time never even thought about AAA rates! My room the day we get off the ship is a view room and it is $400. I would not usually go on this holiday weekend as it will be busy but like you said since we are there I might as well. :thumbsup2

Okay I received my Disney pins yesterday from mousepinsonline.com and here's what I ordered and received! I ordered 125 grab bag pins and we ended keeping/wanting about 50 pins! We received quite a few pirate pins, chip and dale (who I love) and various princess and Tinkerbell pins! They were all the official hidden Mickey and/or cast member pins! We then received about 35 propins which are the original pins! My daughters loved these as they're brightly colored and have fun scenes so we ended up keeping some of those too!! So with that large of an order we have about 60 pins to trade! And that's if I keep them hidden until our trip, otherwise it will keep dwindling down!!

Just wanted to report on what I received!! Hope everyone else has the same luck!!!

I LOVE those commercials on TV! :goodvibes

OK.....so I lied. I'm back here before Tyler's in bed. :rotfl: But that shouldn't be a surprise now, should it? I never stay away as long as I say I will. :lmao: But I can't help it! Tyler's organizing all his books, completely removed ALL books from 4 shelves, has them lying all over the floor so he can group similar ones together and put them back. My WHOLE living room floor is covered in books. And now he just said he's too tired to put them back because it's too many books. UM....I DON'T THINK SO! :headache: I had to demand! I reminded him that I told him not to take them ALL off unless he planned on putting them ALL back.

Not sure how this happened when he originally started doing his paper chain. On the way home from school, he wanted me to read him his library book when we stopped for gas. Um.....NO, I can't read it here in the gas station parking lot, but we can certainly read it as soon as we get home. Then by the time I got all my stuff off and opened mail and asked if he was ready to read his library book, he told me, "Nope, I forgot that I wanted to make my paper chain". Then I was in the kitchen looking for a snack and I hear books being dropped on the floor and then he told me his current plan.

I'm sorry, but I just can't follow that process! :lmao:

Sounds like the way I do things:rotfl2:

Morning all, I just got into the office. Been at the hospital since 6 this morning. Now we have a potential fraud case...yikes! What a week!

Oh V, we get those in my department at the Bookstore, about once a month or so. But the new Sales floor supervisor is getting really good at catching the bad CC, so now we are getting more, "I'll call my lawyer" as they run out the door without the card when we say we are calling in for a verification, :confused3 , didn't they want to keep the card if it was good, losers.

But when it slips by us the investigation we have to do to show due diligence on our behalf for the sale is so time consuming.
