I just saw a post where on the last PC cruise they had a "Princess at Sea Tea" in Luminere's for all the young ladies. Hope they do it on our cruise! princess:

Hmmmmm, wonder if you need a child to get in? Those of you with 'spare' female children might be able to make some deals. :lmao: :lmao: Some of us ladies would be happy to be stand in grandmothers!

.

I've read, somewhere, that you don't have to have children to attend. DH and I are hoping to go. You can join us and we'll all act like kids and have fun. :)

Well, I have NO trouble acting like a child! Sounds like a good plan.:thumbsup2

I think Brisully is from Illinois, but he doesn't post much. Other than that I can't think of anyone who lives there now, though as I posted before, I USED to.

Ken, loved the booking night pictures (and what a lovely family)!

Well, a new week, a new opportunity to lose some weight :rolleyes1

.

Would agree apart from the fact that I have just eaten a bag of gummy sweets!!!:rolleyes1

I think there might be quite a few 'older' princesses who would like to go!princess: princess: princess:

None of us are too keen on the time, but think of the afternoon back onboard ship!!:)

good morning...well, my car seems worse. I could not go over 35....took me a long time to get across town!
I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and trade it in.

pixiedust: Here's a liitle pixie dust for you. What bad luck, we haven't had a car payment in over a year. It's been nice. I wouldn't be happy either.

Nan, as always, we are on the same page!!

I was planning to not only send the Champagne, but to do a DVD AND tasting notes for Ya'll!!!

No cancelling... nope... not allowed!!!

No more discussion to this effect... I am sure that another DISer, (Can't think of the name, but there is someone else with a Suite...) with a suite will come through for this. After all, you all still have a couple of months before you have to make a final decision!!

We wish we were going with you...

Karen

Champagne girls NEVER give up!!!

Hey Karen... for a bottle of Etoile... you can ship one of the boxes to the GF and I'll carry it on... PM me... (not sure how many you are sending and how many I can carry with me... any other volunteers???)

Well they didn't think to allocate our cabin as a sweetener for yesterday!

One day I will be doing my daily check on the reservation and a number will be there. One day.

Yup...the day we board!!! Sorry...

Sophia will be happy. No school today. Bitter cold and wind chill outside, and since we stopped bussing within two miles of the school, too cold for kids to walk (yeah, I know, we used to do it when we were kids, both ways uphill, in the dark, in sub-zero weather).

BAREFOOT!!!

Be like the beer boys! No meeting, no formality, just wear your tiaras, and every time you see another champagne girl, raise a glass, and have a toast!

Just make sure it's a Champagne Flute... WHAT??? No clubhouse??? You're just afraid we're going to invade!!! pirate: (we need a wench pirate smiley...)

Should I make my application to AARP now?

Don't worry John... They will call you... MANY TIMES.... not from personal experience - I have 3 siblings who are older than me...

Go for a Honda V... Can't kill them... change the oil every 5,000 miles, do the planned maint. and you can't kill them and I work with guys who know cars and this is what they told me and 3 years and no probs!!! (my mom leased the Civic and it's a great car... Honda is good safety wise also...)

Great, more kids at the grown up table! :)

We booked as many excursions as we could, early in the morning for that very reason!!:thumbsup2

GEE I WONDER HOW MANY EMAILS TOM MCALPIN HAS THIS MORNING!!!

with a hot baked potato, for our lunch, in our hands to keep them warm.:rotfl:

Hey V..

I hear your organizing the Aruba Jeep excursion... Me and Mom are joining Angie and Dr. Hug...

So... what are we doing that day???

HONDA yes, ours has 145,000 miles on and so far (knock on wood) just oil changes!!!! Whoohoo.

Our first lasted just as long. WE only sold it in because we were moving cross country and didn't want to drive two cars.

it's looks like the room is on the outside? is it one of those secret porthole rooms....someone please help me out!?!?!?

Yes, it is one of the secret porthole rooms. But you poor thing...you're right next door to us. :lmao: We'll try to be quiet, but I've got two boys, ages 10 and 7. Maybe the lifeboat was looking better. :rotfl:

Edited to add: Sorry, didn't mention my stateroom number. It's 5524. I think we connect to you.

My niece says I never got rid of my 80's hair... I still look like my high school picture... luckily layers are coming back...

:thumbsup2
Hairdressers keep telling me big hair is coming back but I've yet to see it. But I'm hopeful...

We haven't booked anything for PV. There is a city tour of about 4 4.5hrs.

Would have liked to just wander, but PV is about 3 miles from cruise terminal.

Should we just taxi on down to town or do the excursion? Anyone on that one?

I guess I'll keep asking the question ... Anyone from the Chicago area on this cruise?

I haven't seen anyone from Chicago on here except you. We're from Ames, Iowa, and I think we might be the closest to you. Maybe someone from Milwaukee out there????

Hi all,

Glad to see your group so active and having fun (except for that hassle over excursions, etc.).

I'm an Eastbounder and we were wondering if any of you had looked into renting a tux for the trip? Specifically, is the rate the same as a 7 day or is it more due to the length of the trip?

Thanks,

Tom
