Karen-you're so sweet! You will be so missed on this cruise!! But the somewhat upside is, you got to avoid the nightmare of last night. It was a true joke. I was online from 9pm to 2:30am and we didn't get one of the excursions we wanted!!! Some east coasters were up all night. Some people, like Angie, couldn't get on at all!

Well, I'm off to bed, just wanted to pop in and say thank you for being so sweet with the champagne tasting.

Sorry - my humor is kinda weird remember. Anyway, I'm finally excited. DH and I will be travellling alone although DD-20 may make a last minute appearance depends on whether she can take her finals a couple days early. Anyway, Not too worried about any excursions as DH and I found we like going on our own. No worries on the West Coast part as I speak the language. Am a bit worried about Aruba so right now I am booked on DCL buy may cancel that if I get to do some research. Lots going on at home and until last week wasn't sure if I was going to go 100%. But final payment was made and seems I will be on here God Willing.

I also changed our cabo stuff to 8:30am, yes I'll wake up. I realized that we can sleep in for ~10 days on the ship, so the port days we have to buck up and wake up early.

Paul and I just talked about Wilson needing to get to bed at a reasonable time to make it fun for us as a family, and yes he said he'd put him to bed and I can go out and PLAY with my girl friends This is gonna be such a great trip that's me wearing my sunglasses at night, so I can so I can....here come the 80s

Thought I would share a few pics from our "Excursion booking night" here at home.

My DD(soon to be)3, Kaleigh, is getting just as frustrated at the fishes as her dad was..

My DD6, Shaelyn, has had enough and is getting on the phone to Disney to get this straightened out.

Shortly afterwards, everyone left me on my own to stay up until 2:30am PT to get everything done.

No wonder to see last photo of you!! I was same well. (I got up at 4.30 am in UK.) Start moody when my husband got up in the morning and he was wondering where I was. He couldn't believe that I was sitting down for 4 half hours and only got one booking with brunch palo It was nightmare and I never see like that before. I wish dcl should thought that palo and excursions should separate on two days maybe that would help.

Well they didn't think to allocate our cabin as a sweetener for yesterday!

One day I will be doing my daily check on the reservation and a number will be there. One day.

Well, the new internet access policy at worked started today.
I can already see it is going to be very annoying!

Earlier this morning I was able to access my reservation on the DCL website. But now it lets me get to the home page but when I click on anything else it blocks access on the grounds that it is an "entertainment" site. It wouldn't even let me have 'quota' time.

How much longer it will let me access the DIS remains to be seen.
At the moment I can still get on, but not only can I not see photos (which has always been the case) I now can't see smilies or people's signatures.

Don't they realise this is my only way of keeping relatively sane at work?

I tried booking the Regatta in Cabo through the tour company and got this e-mail:

By booking directly thru your cruiseline your tour will include transportation to and from our facility and a Cabo Adventure Representative will be waiting to greet you upon arrival at the pier.



Moreover, booking directly through the shore excursions desk will assure coordination between the cruise ship and ourselves and a full refund in case the ship is late and the tour has to be cancelled.

Ok, if we change the kind of party it is then it could work. Party at the adults pool!!!! Rose Regale girls. It's a good idea and will probably work. I personally don't like sweet wines so I'll drink beers with Holly. But I would definitely be there! It's a good idea Lisa.

Okay, so I don't have the heart to go back and read every post since last Friday afternoon, so if I've missed something just let me know.

Friday night my purse that had my wallet, my planner, and basically my whole organized life was stolen from me. So I have spent the last two days cancelling everything and changing every password on the internet and anything I can possible think of. By the time I cancelled my business credit card, the thieves had charged $60 to Pizza Hut and $46 to Dominoes. Guess they wanted a pizza party at 1 a.m. in the morning. Then they tried to use it to put gas in their vehicle, but they didn't know my company's pin number so it was declined.

I think by the time they tried to use all my other cards (probably immediately after that) I had already been on the phone with all my credit card companies, cancelling everything.

Went to bed at 3:30 a.m. or so and then got up at 6 a.m. and started back up on the internet again. Went to bank at 9 a.m. and had to close my accounts and open new ones and all that fun stuff.

Then had to go to my office and have my property manager let me in so I could get to my desk. She had to change all the alarm codes and pass codes into the building just to be safe. And of course, my office keys were in my purse, so they were long gone too.

Then spent the next couple of hours cancelling our company's Sam's and Costco accounts, so now I get to tell all the staff tomorrow that they get to go get new cards issued.

Then I spent more time on the internet.

I keep thinking of more things as I have time.

I lost my WDW passes and have been working with Guest Services to get those, but now I have to go back through a bunch of my paperwork to find some stuff.

So, the last thing I did today was go onto Disney Cruise Line because I need to change my email address for the 2/28 cruise. But then, I didn't have the number so I called DCL and she gave it to me and gave me the 5/10 cruise too. About that time, I remembered that last night at midnight was when I could start booking everything.

So, got off the phone with DCL and immediately went into the 5/10 cruise and everything I was suppose to book was gone. (including Palo's). That was when I had a meltdown and broke down and started crying. Looked at the spa and the first thing I saw was "Alone time" and debated about booking that! But I didn't...........so I ended up not booking anything, and will just keep watching and make a note in my planner (the new one I haven't bought yet) for the 75 day mark when something might open up again.

After my meltdown, I decided it was time to get off the computer, so I cleaned my living room and vaccuumed, and went downstairs to the craft room for a few minutes.

Now, I decided to get on the disboards and share my news. All I can say is my life has been turned upside down. I am making a list with everything I can think of and as I change everything I am putting it on an excel spreadsheet and it is getting locked up in our safe. that way I'll have one list with everything in one place.

The good news....I haven't been able to spend any money all weekend (not that I have had time) because all my credit cards and cash are gone! I had two gift cards in my wallet and I was able to dig up the receipts and go back and get them cancelled and reissued. The last thing I wanted was those thieves getting another $125 out of me!

The bad news....I had just bought some ribbon at Joann's Friday night earlier in the evening and they stole my ribbon! It was for the scrapbook pages. Really made me mad.

The good news.....I had just taken my camera and cell phone out of my bag and set them down in the car and when they grabbed my purse out of the car (and I was only about 30 feet away), they didn't get my expensive camera or purse.

The bad news....tomorrow I get to spend my time at the driver's license office getting a new drivers license.

Okay, that's my news for now. Things can only get better from him. I only had about $45 cash in my purse (thank goodness). Sometimes, I stash some extra money in hidden places, but luckily I had it in my bedroom and not in my wallet!

Oh-they have all my insurance cards, my DVC card, my Castaway Club Card, Disney Dining card, etc., etc.

Besides that.....life is PEACHY KEEN!

Okay, starting tomorrow I'll try to check in each day!

In the US, do you have the insurance policies where you only have to make one phone call and they cancel all your cards etc? We have one which costs about £20 ($40) a year and covers both of us - they hold all credit/debit card details, passport numbers, and various other things I either can't remember or don't use. Oh, key tags for your keys in case they're lost.

And most of the smiles to the right have disappeared - all it seems I'm allowed is wink, confused, eek!, mad and roll eyes!

I thought I heard that Bob was on this cruise (Bob Varley) but I have heard nothing about a meet.

Sophia will be happy. No school today. Bitter cold and wind chill outside, and since we stopped bussing within two miles of the school, too cold for kids to walk (yeah, I know, we used to do it when we were kids, both ways uphill, in the dark, in sub-zero weather).

Anyhow, good morning everyone, and no work for me today, but Sophia will be with me all day, which means less work around the house as I keep her entertained.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but.....I really don't see how we can have a champagne girls meeting without Karen. Sure we can get her to supply the bubbly but we won't know what we're drinking. We need Karen to explain and describe and educate us. I know I can't do that. I really think if we try to do it without Karen it won't be the same and I'm just not sure it's worth it.

We would need a place to hold it as well. Someone with a concierge level ressie would have to accommodate 40 girls.

How does everyone else feel about it. I know it's disappointing, but I really think we needed Karen to make this work. With her cancelling, I hate to say it, but I think we should cancel the champagne girls.

Be like the beer boys! No meeting, no formality, just wear your tiaras, and every time you see another champagne girl, raise a glass, and have a toast!

School is closing for a week as school holiday!!

About our Cruise in May, my work wrote a letter to school and explain that I am working over summer period. Hopeful school will approve it.

Good news!
Good location too. Our first cruise was in 5630 and we loved the location, very quiet.
Could've booked it for this cruise myself online but was waiting to hear from the TA so missed out on it.

(Well, I'm pretty sure it was 5630 but Big Brother won't let me access the deck plans to check! Deck 5 aft, starboard, last Cat 6 before the Cat 7's start.)
