Matching Family Outfits - Post Pictures!

When we went to Ohana for breakfast we all wore Stitch shirts. We will do the same this trip coming up. DDs both have matching Chip and Dale shirts which they plan on wearing to The Garden Grill soon. DDs and I also have matching Captain Jack Sparrow shirts too. Wish we could run into him wearing those.

I would love for my whole family to match, but my DH has other ideas about that. LOL!!! So for now, I just like to match my boys!! Here are some pictures from our recent trip. But I like to dress them to coordinate even when at home. LOL!

My husband use to think the matching shirts were wierd till we traveled up to Canada, and I happened to lay out the same shirt for all of us. (From Summer VBS) Now he's converted. It made him more at ease with what to do if we lost her. It's easy to say she's wearing the same shirt we are. It also makes it easy to find people in a crowd, and you are less likely to forget what everyone else is wearing if you get seperated.

I think the matching shirts look great for photos and, more importantly... they really help me keep track of my kids in a crowd!

I love all these pictures ! I have had my Dh and DS match and my DD and DS match and even myself and DS but never the entire family. This year I hope that will change. I am doing a matching shirt for all the adults for the P&PP

Beware, I have said it before on other threads. If you are female with any curves at all make sure they are loose fitting. I made the best tank top, but I can't wear it. It fits ok, but it is stretchy and poor mickey looks all out of whack and kind of alien like.

Too bad because the tank turned out great. In a year or so it should fit my 7 year old DD as a loose tank. The girls and their fathers turned out good. I did another one for myself in a larger tank, but it is very faint. You have to really look to see the Mickey.

I don't have too many in photobucket, especially the really good ones where you can see DH, me and DS but here are a few. One of my favorite things about disney is doing the matching/coordinating outfits!

Not sure you can see DS shorts, they match my shirt.

DS also had a yellow one.

Hmm, well I must have deleted them all out of my account! I'll see if I can find them and add them back in!

Thought I would add my kids matching pics...

I loved matching family shirts - They look great in pictures...you get compliments...and like everyone else has said it is so much easier to keep track of a group of kids

I had to work hard to convince DH to join in and now he is hooked...in '06 we did 1 matching family day and a couple kids (sometimes just the boys) matching days - we got matching jackets that trip from DS and they looked great

In "07 we all matched a few days and the boys matched the other days

This trip - we are all matching every day but I'm gonna get more creative and make some iron on tees that match but are individualized for each kid

You may have to promise the teenage kids that nobody they know will see them but, matching shirts make corralling everyone so much easier. It also makes it easier after you've jumped out of line to take the toddler to the restroom for the third time in an hour to be able to point to the obviously matching group and ask to be let back in with the rest of the family. Here we are even having convinced the my oldest's fiance to conform.

Which ones?? I got them all someplace different. The peter pans outfits were handpainted by my aunt. The safari shirts I got from the site that isn't supposed to be named, and the mickey gingham outfits were made by a lady at www.boneful.com
