master bedroom’ no longer politically correct

The real estate agents are doing it because they need to cater to the PC group. Why else would they do it? If you cater to a group that would bring sales so why not cater to the overly sensitive group?

Wow, those PC people must be really rich. I need to meet them. Do you know how I can sign up for their group?

You can joke all you want it still doesn't sway my opinion and I am guessing many other peoples opinions. This pc crap is getting out of hand.

You go girl! Seriously, though, I apologize if my taking this PC thing lightly offends you.

Sometimes I think most people aren't really offended until they're told they should be. Just sayin'

Lets keep chasing our tails taking offense to people taking offense...lol . :lmao::upsidedow

I think some people have nothing better to do than stir the pot:stir:. It's getting a little crazy!

Personally, I never underestimate the capacity of marketing gurus to create problems from nothing in order to solve those problems themselves. Or perhaps I've just seen The Music Man too many times.

I am so sick of the pc police. People need to buck up and stop being so sensitive.

While the master bedroom thing doesn't bother me one way or the other, I really dislike when sensitivity is made out to be a bad thing. As someone who is very sensitive in many ways, it took me a long time to understand and accept that sensitivity has a great value and it's nothing to be ashamed of.

When peoples sensitivity impedes on others I take issue. Of course we are all sensitive to certain things but when people have to change everyday words or when people can't say Merry Christmas any more then it is out of hand and it needs to stop.

Personally I do not like it when someone's sensitivity impedes on my desire to wish people Happy Holidays.... That needs to stop....

Who said no one can say Merry Christmas? I prefer Happy Holidays so that I can include everyone. I can't see how that's a bad thing. :confused3

Well I see it as a bad thing. In the real world everyone is not included in everything. We can't expect the world to bend to us. I say Merry Christmas and I don't care who I offend why should I? Now if I celebrated Hanukkah I would say Happy Hanukkah. Again why do we need to bend to everyone else because some feel the need to be overly sensitive?

Personally, I celebrate Christmas so I say Merry Christmas. However, I would in no way be offended if someone said "Happy Hanukkah" to me. I would reply in kind! :hippie:

This is the real world. :confused3 At least it's the real world in which I'm talking about wishing people Happy Holidays. Not talking about WoW or the DIS or the Sims.

I don't think it's being overly sensitive. I don't think it's "bending" to anyone. I just think it's being nice.

I don't understand not caring if you offend someone. I know we're not supposed to talk about religion, but I celebrate Christmas and my faith is all about being kind and compassionate. Not offending people.
