HELP!
How do I do this?! I can't find a place to actually book!!

We'll be there that time and might be willing to pay full price the other nights just to get this deal!

Thanks!

Click on the colored words for "the laughing place." You need to fill out an e-mail form and they will get back to you. I heard from them within about an hour (my dates were sold out).

I just did it - thanks so much!

Do you happen to know if I arrive on a Saturday...and depart on a Saturday...if I can pay rack room rate those days in addition to the sale price? I would save $200 even paying rack rates the non-special nights!

Also, do you know if you have to do any kind of goofy vacation tours to get that rate - or if it is "no strings attached" for the special rate?

Thanks so much for your help!

We stayed at this rate in Sept/Oct. No goofy tour to take. We only got the $20.03 rate for some of our days-- but for the rest we were given a discounted rate of $49/night.

Another word of advice: join Marriott Rewards club (free to do so on Marriott's web site). We had a room overlooking DTD and could see EPCOT and MK firworks from our balcony. We were told that we got this upgraded room because we were Marriott Rewards members (had just joined prior to this trip!).

The hotel is nothing special but a great deal for $20.03 and still a good value at $49/night. Once rates started to get up into the $60-$70+ rate per night (averaged out incl your discounted nights), I'd start looking elsewhere...

Good luck!

Thanks!

Right now we have reservations at the Radisson Parkway - which is like $69 a night (and they're giving us a free upgrade b/c it's our honeymoon)...but being that much closer to Disney is quite appealing!! I hope I hear back soon - still nothing from my emailed request last night - maybe they're on the West coast?

Thanks for posting! I can't wait to see if it's available for our stay!

sold out :guilty:

I guess I should have just called the phone number this morning instead of thinking someone would actually reply to my email "enquiry" - I should know that any website that spells Inquiry "enquiry" repeatedly is not worthy

I am on hold with them now and they don't know anything about it. They are talking to their manager now. I'll keep you posted.

FamilyMoon,

Sorry to hear you couldn't get the rate. But to tell the truth, we were actually a bit relieved that we couldn't get it! We'll be paying a bit more at the Hotel Royal Plaza, but we've stayed there previously as well and it is much more upscale.

We have a great deal with the Royal Plaza (which is right next door to the Courtyard)-- buy three nights get one free, free upgrade to deluxe tower room, $69/night rate, and the $7 a night resort fee waived. So our rate comes out to $51.75 per night for 4 nights. I don't think that entire deal is still on, but you could call and *enquire.* You can find their phone number by doing a google search for downtown disney hotels and then clicking through their website to get to the link for the Hotel Royal Plaza.

I've never stayed at the Raddison Resort, so can't directly compare it to the Royal Plaza, but if you are looking for the DTD location the Royal Plaza is a good bet. Even if you found a rate around $100/night at buy 3 get one free and got them to waive the resort fee, you'd be pretty close to the rate you're paying at the Raddison. We stayed in a regular (ie, non-tower) room in the Royal Plaza in the past, by the way, and it was perfectly nice.

As to that *enquire* thing-- I believe this is the preferred spelling among Brits. Since the OP told us to mention some website with a .uk suffix, I would speculate that we may be dealing with a UK website. The time difference might explain why they didn't get back to you (isn't it 7 hours later over there?). Perhaps they were closed when you contacted them...

the phone number is wrong, that is for central reservations, they gave me an offer with time share info. I emailed Laughing travel, I couldn't find their phone #

Usually for any of these $20 or $30 specials you have to call the hotel. (I have booked for $39 thur DU, but they give instant confirmation!)

Call during regular business hours after hours you go to Central Reservations which has no idea

That's a really old offer. I think it came out in July or August. I'm willing to bet all of the rooms available at $20.03 are LONG gone.

You had to call the hotel directly during regular business hours to get it, and there was a particular name for the rate (which I can't remember).

I know I was getting reports that it was sold out, so I took it off my site ages ago.

Probably that UK site just forgot to remove the info.

I'm staying at the Courtyard at DTD from 10-20 December at the $20.03 rate - booked back in August though.

The $20.03 rate is only valid for Sunday - Thursday, I'm paying $89/night for the Friday, Saturday and Friday - so a total of $407.21. In my money this works out at about £25 a night and I'm more than happy with that. The DTD location means I do not need a car for the duration of our stay, so I save a bit there too. An additional bonus is we can both enjoy (more than) a few drinks without worrying about the car and driving.

Just seen the TZOG promo in another thread though so might see if I can get my Friday and Saturday nights a bit cheaper with that!

Help! Can anyone tell me what rate code to use to get either the $20.03 or the $39.00 per night rate at Marriott? We're leaving on December 11th and have the Magicard rate of $49.00 per night at the (Marriott) Fairfield Suites Universal. Many thanks!!!

 I just called the Marriott (having stayed there before under the 20.02 rate last year ... theyre claiming theyre not offering this now.. and the reservationist (at the hotel itself) said hasnt been available for some time. sighs i almost jumped thinking southwest 79 each way and a 20.03 rate would be almost too cheap to pass out...
