I love making Magic Cookie Bars - they're literally one of the easiest things to do, all you do is spread the ingredients in a pan and bake them. But now I think I need to start adding sprinkles to mine, that looks even better!!
Relaxing on the beach looks so nice, it looks like you had a wonderful day!
Joe's Mom makes them quite a bit too - I'm not much of a baker/cook, the mood has to strike me! But, perhaps next time I'll give these a try - they really are delicious!
If there were not nuts in that bar i'd be all for it.
I know what you mean about taking notes. I did not take any on my last. So that'll make for an interesting TR
Some trips I'm really good at note taking...others, not so much. Thankfully this Feb/March one I was REALLY good. I even put times in! I think the last day was a bit less, but all well. Hopefully we will get to the last day before this coming February.

I have no idea where he came up with that comment! I wish I could remember the moment, I'm sure Joe and I nearly choked on our bars!
I love Henry he's so funny! Mickey Mouse tastes like sausage
Luv the pics from Wilderness lodge
Sometimes little kids come up with the craziest things!!!
Sausage, huh? That's a new one!
I love the day of chill. You rarely get those days at Disney unless you force yourself. Or your spouse.

SO TRUE! In this case it was the spouse urging them, but I complied most of the trip. March 6 was the day I realized a few things - and everything changes...
Sausage huh?
I think it's wonderful that you were able to just relax while Henry played in the sand. I admit, without a book that might be very hard for me to just sit there for too long if I knew I couldn't actually go in that water!
Gorgeous pics.
That bar looks crazy sweet though! I'll have what Henry's having.
Generally I need a book or something too-but this day just staring at the water was enough. We did have some entertainment with boats passing by and such. And I'm pretty certain I got up a few times, just to walk, or whatever. The "do nothing" mood was there that day, Joe took advantage!
The bar was VERY sweet, I couldn't finish it, half was more than enough for me.
Oh Henry!! You are such a goofball!!!
Love the wilderness lodge. I feel bad for Creighton because I am not a pool person at all. And he loves "swinnin". I'll have to send him with you so he can get all the "swin" time he wants.

I like the pool, but I like to actually swim - swim laps, or race, or something. Joe is content just standing there and playing with Henry. Usually we both hop in and we all play for a bit, then I go off and swim, then I come back for a few minutes to play with H while Joe goes off, then I get out and I'm done. I think once Henry can swim for himself I'll spend a lot more time in there though!
Yummm, Magic Cookie bars. So, so good! You gave me an idea of something to throw together for our always hungry, four kiddos. I like them with the Mickey sprinkles!
Wilderness Lodge is dreamy. Ah...

How did they enjoy the bars?
Hmmm... we're staying at Wilderness Lodge for a few nights in December... just might have to make a point of getting one of those fabulous looking bars!
Have you stayed at the WL before? It's SO wonderful! And during the holidays...perfect!!!!!
Sounds like a lovely day!
Putting 'Magic Cookie Bar' on my list of things to try while at the WL in
JUST 3 WEEKS!!!!
Don't think I want a Mickey bar that tastes like sausage though

Your trip is coming fast!!!! And yes, avoid the sausage flavored Mickey bars! LOL!
What a great way to spend the afternoon. And now I really, really want one of those 7 layer bars. And - I will try to file that in my memory banks for when I visit in June.
Henry's comment is priceless!
Eating one of those bars poolside is a pretty great way to spend the afternoon. Another good spot to enjoy one, with coffee, would be on the lookout deck they have off the building - watching the lake, munching and sipping....
