A few years back, I did not know much about Disney nor Universal…… This is how my story begins….

Booooriiing……. Scratch that, let´s try again. :rolleyes1

Here´s a bit of a scenario of what my life is all about…
Last time I could recall going to Disney, it was 1990. What the…
THE END…. Unbelievable… :scared1:

Something had to be done…:yay:

My name is Marco, but everyone calls me Marquibiri… After travelling most of my life with my parents and sister, we finally settled in a nice warm country in Latin America known as Panama…

This is me....

A normal guy... :cool2:

Anywhoo…my story...
2008… Three of my closest friends and I decided to go on a weekend trip to USF/IoA and DHS… Little did we know that THAT weekend would change my life forever….

A week before that trip I found out of something known as HHN!
Holy Heavenly News! Doh, nope! Halloween Horror Nights! :worship:

Opening weekend fell on the dates I would be there… and I jumped, and I yelled, and I laughed… It was destiny, it was meant to be..

Anyway, in that short trip I was introduced for the first time to my NEW friends IoA and USF. So I went to HHN XVIII, Pleasure Islands Closure where we saw lots of fireworks, and to DHS.

2008....

I was hooked with HHN, I loved it so much, I went back in 2009 on my own for HHN XIX and then last year for HHN XX!

Soon, this year´s pre-trip report...

This year, I will be heading for HHN 21.

A bit more info... (what am I, the HHN website :lmao:)

Last year, I designed a customed T-shirt for my wife and I for MNSSHP and HHN XX...
We had tons of fun..

For this year's event, I've designed the following T-shirt...

So, as Bart Simpson would rap... "Let's move right along at the sound of the gong! Once upon a time about a week ago, all the sudden trouble started to grow..."

My wife does not want me to go to HHN this year (she doesn't know about this trip) :rolleyes1
However, my body language and continuous humming is giving away my macabre plot to attend HHN 21 :scared:

She'll find out soon enough.... and I'll try to :tiptoe: away and she'll be  , but for a while...

And then, and then, and then I bought my airplane tickets a few months back... :yay:

Now my Job allows me to take vacations around September and thus... I always program them during HHN opening weekend...

I did promise Mac I would seriously think on changing next years vacations to different dates... I really want to do RIP Tours....

Now I had to plan my trip (hotel, tickets, shopping, etc). :woohoo:

To be continued... :scared1:

Marquibiri :thumbsup2

Once ya do the RIP tour, you will never look at HHN the same way!

Its a must do for us die-hard HHN addicts!!:thumbsup2

Well unless your a resident of O-Town,then ffpasses are worth there wieght in gold..

So I know the HHN is totally not my thing. I'll enjoy your report in my thoroughly lighted, comfy and peaceful den, thank you very much! :surfweb:

i would have been here earlier homie but i was busy watching your video links.

you did a great job on them!!

i recognized some of the scare actors i know in those first clips!!

buy the tix today.
spend the rest of the time on how you will tell your wife you are going.....

I just purchased park tickets, RoF with Express Pass ticket, and booked the Unmasking the Horror Tour...
I was on the phone for over half an hour since my card transaction was not going through (international card) so they finally put me through to a supervisor and to my surprise, he was from my home country... Panama...
What a coincidence... :)
So we spoke about life and stuff... Anyway, he solved my issue and had to cut the conversation short as it was an international call made from my office :rolleyes1

So here goes my Itinerary (draft).....

Thursday September 22nd:

Fly in and arrive (during the night). Use Mearstransportation to take me over to hotel... Doubletree, one night at the 69 dollar rate! :cool1:

Friday September 23rd

Check in at RPR at 7iish am??? Sound good? Before? Leave my stuff at bell services and head to the park for early admission to IoA..

Do everything blah blah blah, cross on over to US at around 2, do some rides, head to Finnegans, have my beer sampler, a nice meal, and HHN... Back to resort..

Saturday September 24th

Wake up, a bit of a hangover, head for early admission, do WWoHP and few of the top notch rides, cross on over before noon, do some rides. At around 1:30 pm be at the VIP lounge by guest services for the Unmasking The Horror Tour
When done, to Finnegans and then HHN...

Sunday September 25th

Sleep in a bit...Check out... Leave my luggage at bell services go shopping, need to get to mall of millenia, marshalls, places like that... cab will cost a fortune... return to resort pick up luggage and walk/ride? to Doubletree for Mears pickup??? Or can the mears shuttle drop me off at Doubletree when arriving and then pick me up at a different location (RPR in my case) for the 30 dollar round trip thingy???

Head to airport (late afternoon), use DME and head to All Star Sports.. :woohoo:
Sleep.............

Monday September 26th

I wish I had an early character breakfast at DHS, but can't find availability....
Loved being the first in line toward Toy Story from Play n Dine.
Rope drop at DHS, Toy Story, Star Tours, Aerosmith, ToT, etc...

Have a late dinner (9:45pm) at Sci Fi. Have always skipped this restaurant, I want to try the ribs.. Park has extra evening magic hours, closes at midnight!
I'll be sooo tired...

Tuesday September 27th

Sleep in or character breakfast at some resort...
Use DME to head back to airport and home..... :sad2:

Any thoughts/suggestions are welcome my dear homies! ;)

Marquibiri :thumbsup2

what time are you checking out at sports on tuesday?

i guess you didn't see my post in the thread for September threads...

if you are doing just the shuttle from one resort to the other with mears, luggage is not allowed on that shuttle.

i'm referring to the $19 rt shuttle that goes back and forth for disney/universal that many of the day park guests use.

I've gotta be at MCO by 1 pm.

I was planning on using the Mears shuttle for the round trip from MCO to Doubletree then RPR to MCO... The 30 dollar round trip but do not know if it can be done through different drop off pick up locations.

Then, using the Disneys Magical Express at MCO to get to AS Sports and then back on check-out day...

Marquibiri :thumbsup2

i'll see you at the airport perhaps..........(i know, i know, big airport, but maybe at the disney or universal store.)

i land at 10:20 unless the flight changes...

You forget I live here and always go opening night. ;)

Whhhaaaat! I was completely unaware of this.. I have shamed myself.. :sad2:

Haven´t u seen me.. I´ve been in the top 3-5 people to enter the first house from Stay and Scream area the last coule of years... Did you see yourself in any of my vids? :)

Ok guys.....

Please advise....

i am really trying to cram everything here and I've considered to add Busch Gardens on Sunday Sept. 25! :cool1:

I haven't been there like in 20 years! :sad2:

Now here's the issue...
I really need to get to Millenia Plaza and do some shopping at Marshalls, Target, Best Buy....

I am even planning on giving up part of Saturday morning to rush there for shopping..
Would it be too risky to get back to the resort and into the park before HHN??? Acutally, before 2 pm for the UTH Tour!
:confused3

I'll get to see decorations for HoS at BGT.. :thumbsup2
I'd take a zillion pics of any props....

By mistake I went into the Williamsburg Howl o Scream website and the calendar said HoS was on for Sunday September 25th. I was like  until I noticed it wasn't the Tampa site...

Should I go and finally do all the rollercoasters everyone talks about....?
Or should I do some shopping... :rolleyes1

Marquibiri :thumbsup2
