Fantastic!!!! Glad you had so much fun.

Looking forward to hearing what else you have to say. How nice you met Todd.....he is lovely isn`t he....and yes...... very tall :thumbsup2

I'm aliiiiiveeee....

So it has been almost two weeks since I've returned! Unbelievable! I want to go back!!!!

Anyway, let me continue with my TR, cause I'm pretty sure if I leave it for later, I'll never get it done...

---Friday September 23---

I was up at 6:15 am, slept only a few hours... I went to take a shower and I spotted some nasty tiny bugs crawling in the bath tub, 3 of them.. :scared1:
 Very disgusting... I turned on the faucet and they went down the drain... Very gross... Doubletree is a nice hotel (keep in mind I only spent a few hours there) but this bug thing has made me a bit uneasy about booking there again.

I went down to the lobby, did my check out and took this pic.

And headed out to Royal Pacific Resort. Cab charged me 7 dollars.
The place was empty at that time.

100_0006.jpg

I checked in and to my surprise, they had a room ready!!! WOW! At 7 am!

Oh boy! It was nearly time for HHN! Well, it was only 3:30 but it was close enough. So I headed on over to Finnegans…
100_0248.jpg

..and sat in the exact same place as I did for opening weekend of HHN XIX.

I had the buffalo chicken strips and boy did I find them spicy..
Fortunately, I had these babies to wash it down….

100_0250.jpg

At around 5:15, I headed on out to the Stay and Scream area…
100_0254.jpg

… and a nice tall man came over and said hello as I was taking pictures of the DeLorean…
100_0257.jpg

… It was :worship: Metro West! Such a wonderful person! It was awesome meeting you. Too bad I did not see you on Saturday.

At around 6:05 pm we (Marquibiri and Metro West) were let escorted to our first house.. Winter’s Night. Very nice indeed. I won’t be rating the houses here as I’ve all ready done so in the Reviews thread. Then, we headed into The Thing house since Nightingales would not open until 6:30 pm. I loved this house! Costumes were awesome here.

I think we then headed to Bloodengutz and waited a bit for scare actors to enter the house. Fun house and I enjoyed it more on Saturday after the UTH Tour.

Then off to Saws n’ Steam.. Wait time was about 30 minutes by then. We were like “what in the”… so we decided to use the Express Pass…. My RoF with Express gave out an error message on the scanner. I was frowning and some supervisor came by and looked at the ticket and said it should be working. They let me through but when then have to go to guest services to get it fixed.

Metro West waited for me besides the entrance to the house. :)
We went through (so technically I did not use the express pass) and then headed to guest services…

On the way, Metro introduced me to Phantom, and stayed there while I go my issue fixed in guest services…

100_0146.jpg

When I met up with Metro, it started raining pretty bad…
100_0286.jpg

We spoke for a bit and then I put on my 3 dollar poncho (raincoat) and headed on by myself. Metro was going to wait for a bit and head home if it continued raining. I later read he carried on, great! :thumbsup2

The rain was a bless for me, house queues died down for a bit so I was able to do all the other house without express pass.
Loved The Forsaken! Nevermore had the longest queues, so express pass was necessary for the second time around. There are mixed reviews for the In-between house but that first night, I did not like it at all.

I headed back to the resort at around 12:30 am. The following day I would have the Unmasking The Horror Tour and more HHN! I would also do Bill & Ted’s and Deathly Drums…
Lots of pics on the following post…

On saturday morning, I finally realized that I was getting old. I was unable to get up at 7 as I wanted to, so instead got up at 9.

I quickly got ready and headed out to the water taxi. Oh, by the way, I was staying at Tower 2…

I went over to IoA and rode Forbidden Journey several times through the single rider queue (remember, I was by myself). I was on in a couple of minutes. Normal queue was about 30 minutes. I think the third time I was on, the ride broke down and I tried taking a few pics but they came out dark..

Had my butterbeer on my HHN glass..

I then headed on over to Universal Studios for the Unmasking The Horror Tour. I heade on to the VIP Tours and was the first one there for the tour, at around 1:15 pm. By 2 pm, we had a pretty large group (30ish) and were divided into two groups.

I met Maggie (ToGreen78) and her husband. It was wonderful meeting you too, and spoke with several people about the tour. It’s amazing how many dedicated fans HHN has. People started talking about past events ( in the 90’s and early 2000) and talked about different houses and props and stuff. I felt like a beginner there… My memory is not so good and I can barely remember the name of the houses of the my first HHN experience back in 2008. As a matter of fact, I can barely remember stuff about 2009 and last year, :rotfl2:

The tour was amazing… Our guide, David, was great. This tour explains so much about all the houses, their link to Lady Luck, and the story itself. I posted the pictures for the tour in another thread:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2806564

I am definitely hooked on this tour!

Once again I ate and drank cheerfully at Finnegan’s and waited at the Stay and Scream area but did not find Metro West, maybe he was hiding from me. :lmao:

I was able to do all houses at least twice, some three times. The Bill and Ted show was ok, I’ve seen much better… and the Deathly Drums was different, but only watched it for a few minutes….

Here are some of the pictures I took:

Hey Marco! Great report so far!

I'm looking forward to next year already!

So am I my friend, so am I .. :sad1: .... It's far far away... You still going throughout this month to HHN21? Anything changed? I did notice they added some scareactors to Winter's Night the second night at the beginning right after the screaming angels past the gates. The scareactor past that wasn't there on the first night....
Fantastic report! Your pictures are great and your descriptions are awesome!!!

Well thank you!!! :)

---Sunday September 25th---

Sunday came around and this year’s HHN experience had come to an end…for me... :sad2:

I woke up quite depressed because of this and checked out before 9 am. I took a cab over to the Four Points by Sheraton and the man overcharged me… $12.50… I was still asleep and paid, then realized I should have paid less.

Anywhoooo I headed towards the Alamo entrance to pick up my rental car..

300_00012.jpg

Then I headed on over to the Premium Outlets and arrived quite early so hanged out at Starbucks. Then I headed to Mall of Millenia, and this is where I got lost.. Somehow I ended up twice in I-4 towards Tampa! Major bummer. A short 6 mile driver ended up to be over 55 miles (I kept track)! :scared1:

At around 2ish I took the I-4 (third time today, :lmao:  ) and drove towards exit 65…

My depression went away when I saw this…

300_00015.jpg

… and later, the resort….

300_000110.jpg

300_000115.jpg

I checked in and headed towards the room…

300_000111.jpg

My plan was to go either to DTD and eat at Raglan Road or to MK since it had evening EMH until 1 am… Once again I was feeling older than on my previous trips and felt like I couldn't handle more walking :rotfl2: , so I headed to the Disney Car Care, filled up the tank at their Hess gas station (only 7 dollars) and returned it to the Alamo rental facility.

Their bus was ready to take me either to a park or the resort… I hesitated once again whether to head to MK which was so close or back to the resort. My feet were killing me so I opted for the resort…

300_000114.jpg

Got back to the resort and ate at Everything Pop and for the first time went in into the arcade and spent 25 dollars there. It was so much fun, especially getting lots of tickets from games intended for smaller ones. :lmao:

I watched a soccer game I downloaded from internet and off to bed…

Next day (and final day) supposed to do only Hollywood Studios…. I ended up doing much more than that…

To be continued (final installment)…..
