The day is finally here.... I have to be at the airport in a few hours! I'm rushed... all ready... been planning for so long and I am still packing and getting everthing ready.

I'll update my TR regularly...

So here I am guys... Sitting at the lobby of my hotel.... The time is nearly 1 am!


The airplane ride went smooth... A 2 hour 50 minute trip. I was the last one to board the plane and the first one to jump off it. There was no one on business class and I picked the first row in coach.

The food... that's another story...

While the plane was descending, I could see a stream, a cascade.... water everywhere... It was pouring... Fortunately, it stopped as soon as the plane landed..

I arrived at 11:01 pm and was the first one through inspection and at baggage claim... Unbelievably... my luggage was the first one out... I guess Lady Luck is on my side now!

By 11:25 I was on the road... The MEARS shuttle was just on time...

We headed out to terminal B and the shuttle made a quick stop right beside something that made me pout (but in a good way!)

While approaching the Doubletree Hotel at Universal, I spotted this:

...but what really made my night was this beauty standing at the entrance of the hotel...

The room is great. For the 69 dollar discount I find it fabulous...

I am now sitting at the lobby of the Doubletree Hotel, in the Free-WiFi Hotspot taking a look at the brand new HHN 21 maps...

The maps were actually behind the counter at the brochure stand and I sneeked in at took a couple... Sorry about the image, it does look blurry...

I'm off to bed... Gotta get up in 5 hours and head on over to Royal Pacific Resort!

your room is EXACTLY like the one we had last Oct....cept we had a king sized bed, not 2 doubles.

i'm thinking marco is out buying bling for the misses and baby now or he would be posting about his first hhn of the year.

i read on another thread that saws and stream was closed due to some flooding and the walkway to nevermore also closed.

hope it was open by the time you went to those houses.......

There were a couple of houses that had flooded entrances/exits but the ones I went to didn't close. Those were: The Forsaken and The In Between but Nevermore wasn't too bad. That area was flooded around the bottom of the walkway when you come down the ramp from MIB. I guess The Forsaken was the worst one. I didn't go to the other side of the park after the storm.

The rain did good to me... Queues died down and I repeated all houses yesterday. Today it was fabulous. I did The Thing house 4 times!!

hey marquibiri how did the 69 dollar rooms at doubletree work? Can the dreams unlimited be trusted. Thats a heck of a deal. Did you just print off your receipt and hand it to the checking in person and you were in the computer. Did you have to pay any extra fees?
