I love Spring Break! I went to a Cardio class and Power Yoga this morning... then Pilates and the treadmill this evening... 210 minutes TODAY (not counting going to the zoo and parking waaaaaay faaaaaar awaaaaaay.
Yesterday, I walked only 30 minutes. Yesterday was supposed to be my rest day, but I just couldn't be kept down.
Maybe I should patent the term 'WOG' (walk/jog) . It's just a fun word to use ~ I wogged today ~ My DH and I are wogging later ~ Hey, let's wog. Mmmmm, I think if it's not used carefully, it could be misunderstood.
Today is the half way point of the month, and I am almost half way to my goal. After lots of walking, wogging, elliptical, and dvds, I am at 585/1200. Maybe I'll do another quick mile this afternoon just to hit 600.
I went to the gym this afternoon and as part of the March madness challenge I did 70 flights of stairs on the stairmaster (only 30 more flights to go!) and 90 push ups. This took me about 45 minutes. So that's a total of 570/1200 for me! Not too shabby for someone that started the challenge on March 5!
Unfortunately, my knees are acting up on me so I may have to slow down a bit. They are a bit better today, hopefully I will be back to my normal, managable pain level soon.
