March crowds. What to expect?

Last minute trip planned for 3/22-3/28. Week prior to spring recess around here. What type of crowds should I expect (were asked by friends who were going so didn't consider this when plans were made.)?

Myself and DD were there last year at the same dates and the crowds were ok but at times it was a little hectic. We have been 4 or 5 Spring Breaks and it varies because of the East Coast schools and when they break? I think this year they break later in April (not sure) and that will make it less crowded (hopefully) and it also depends on when Easter falls? The later Easter comes the better it is for march Spring breakers. I don't think you will be disappointed and just remember to have fun!!

This year will be my first time heading down in March but I noticed that within the past week, the hours for the week before that have been extended quite a bit, in some cases as much as an extra 3 hours. I am heading down the week before but I am taking that as not a good sign since I just finished a 7 month College Program there and extended hours mean a lot more guests, lol.

On the Theme Parks Attractions & Strategies board, their spring break poll has that week in 4th place behind the week before (15 - 19) and the two weeks around Easter. The hours have increased a little and a couple of Fantasmic shows have been added. It will be busy, but doable. I'm there that week also.

Hmmm ... we're planning a single day, park hopper "world tour" on Sunday March 14. We only have the single day, so we thought we would hit our favorites at each park and end in Epcot during the evening. If its too crowded that could interfere with the grand plan!
