Happy Friday everyone!! Hope you all have a great weekend.
Ciao for now... Johnna

Ciao for now... Johnna

while I've been away!
but I prefer warm weather sports. I hear Castaway Cay calling my name.
and my contractor called Friday to say they could start Phase II of my remodeling project. So I have spent the weekend boxing up things in my kitchen cabinets. No cooking for me for awhile. Darn the bad luck!!!!!

Do you live near the mountains? We only got 1 1/2 inches in Missouri last night. It just seems like this winter has been sooooooo long. It seems like winter started in October because it was so damp and rainy, and then it got really cold the first 10 days of January....I am so ready for spring.
It was a good game though as the final score was 44-41.
Michelle, 7-10 inches in North Carolina????Do you live near the mountains? We only got 1 1/2 inches in Missouri last night. It just seems like this winter has been sooooooo long. But it was fine. The kids barely wanted anything to do with it. I think after the 2 feet we had last month, they were over it.
I always joke this time of year that I'm moving someplace warm - like St. Thomas or Puerto Rico - but I love my life here and just can't imagine being anywhere else. Except for a week every two years with Mickey and my friends!!
Donna - so glad you had a nice visit with Kristin. I'm with you on the snow skiing thing - I've gone a couple of times and just hate it. I too am much more of a beach person than a snow person.
We got about 6 inches of snow on Saturday - in about 6 hours. It snowed from about 11 -5; the forecast was for 1-3 on Friday night, but of course... the weather predictions were incorrect. I know that's shocking. But it was fine. The kids barely wanted anything to do with it. I think after the 2 feet we had last month, they were over it.
I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually getting used to the snow. Or maybe I'm just not complaining as much b/c no one really cares anyway.I always joke this time of year that I'm moving someplace warm - like St. Thomas or Puerto Rico - but I love my life here and just can't imagine being anywhere else. Happy Monday - hope everyone's week is off to a great start!!
Ciao for now, Johnna

Of course, with my luck, it will go the other way and we'll have twice as much as they think.

You have had a lot of snow in DC this year, haven't you?

(Yes I claimed him)...
I know you guys are not able to deal with such large levels... Can you imagine how your neighbors will drive now.
You should take pictures and post one here. Get out the yard stick....

Okay Amy, welcome to the family and open the door.... All of us snow bunnies are coming your way.... You are really going to be saying "Who Dat.... Who Dat at my door now....."
If I move anywhere, it will be SOUTH!!!!
I cleared my sidewalks again this morning for the 4th or 5th day in a row. (See I'm going crazy with all of this snow!)
And we only got a couple of inches each day...can't imagine what the Story's are doing in DC with a couple of FEET of snow and more on their way.

that the snow stays away!
Go Canada Go!!
