What "other site" was it listed on?
Didn;t see it on mousesavers

I tried using the 1800 number and got a recording that it is an incactive #. the recording said to use the 407-828-8101 number

No 1800 # any more???

It was on intercot and has been confirmed by several folks here on the boards because they have booked it. I use 1-877-939-3732 when I call. The rates are high because it is peak season.

Just called and booked FIC for March 3rd. only (I am leaving the area on the 4th and checking back in for the 7-12)

The CM stated that the code was good for all resort with each resort having their own rate. She also said that there was no minimum stay (hence being able to use the code for just March 3)
Got Coronodo for a total (after tax ) of 156.38

I asked about any rumors for future codes or Disney Visa codes. She said no. That the FIC just came out today so she doesn't know of anything.

Glad it worked for you! Did you use the number I posted?

I called one time this morning to be told by one CM that the AAA that I already had would work out the same as the AP rate which I knew was untrue. When I questiones him on it, he gave me the same exact rates that I had.:confused3 I hung up with him, called back and saved myself $50 with another CM. It may not be much, but hey it will pay for something else at Disney!!:goodvibes

Happy Planning!!!

The discount is available on the passholder website now too in case anyone wants to check availability. I put in a couple of dates and lots of rooms available. However, I did not get a discount for Prez weekend for Fri/Sat/Sun. Not sure if this is an error on the website (which is often the case). The last batch of AP rates the website was showing full price for a Saturday night, but when I called it was also discounted.

With the week before, of, and after Easter always being blacked out - I am starting to wonder if there is even going to be a code this year that starts March 7th even though this is before the usual blackout dates. This new code is just such a small window compared to what is normally offered.

I guess I can't complain since I am going to Disney anyway. I just might have to stay Value

Here is hoping maybe something will open up with Disney Visa

You're probably right. I did find the window of March 6th strange with that being several weeks before Easter. However, Disney may know that the resorts are filling for March and probably will not offer the next round of discounts until March 30th to May 22 (just an guess since they seem to be blacking out holidays). They have blacked out the week before and week after Easter for the last 2 years.

Where are you getting this info? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Is the code good for BW? I will only buy an AP this year if I can use the room only discount.

I was really surprised to learn the first week of March is part of peak season and was not expecting any kind of discount for a "possible girls' trip." Translation ... did not think we would be going with those high rack rates (hello? I paid the same amount for POR in December!).
But yay for AP rates! Got Pop for $91 per night plus tax for March 4-7. Still the most I have ever paid for Pop, but oh well.
I don't think it is that big of a deal to not offer AP rates starting March 7, but I know there is a cheer competition at MGM that weekend. My niece's team was going to compete and then cancelled ... of all the competitions to bow out of!

I think Cheer and Dance Competitions start around 3/6.

Crap!!!
I forgot about the cheerleaders.:headache:
I will definetly have to suck it up and pay extra to stay away from the values now

When my niece was going to be competing, the dates her squad was going to be there were March 6-10.

Are these codes only good if you have some kind of membership? i.e. AP or AAA??? or whatever other memberships. I don't have any at all, so are these codes not even going to apply to me?

Thanks.
Melissa

I don't know how long you plan to stay, but it may be worth it to buy an annual pass or a AAA membership. In some cases you can save enough on one night's rate to make up the difference for the extra costs for the AP or AAA. Not to mention, the discounts you receive with an AP.
