March 10, 2012 - Eastern on the Magic

So in the interests of delegating, would you be able to bring some nametags to the meet? I note that you also "volunteered" to do a Q&A type activity for the kids. I could PM you some ideas if you're keen -- we did something like this for our annual street party and the kids really enjoyed it. It was a great way to get the different ages to mix too, although I do realize that in this context most of the kids are looking to meet someone their own age.

Sure, I can do this. I will bring blank name tags, and a Q&A for the kids. I would love ideas. You could PM or email me.

for anyone who has not booked a st. maarten excursion, and would like just a beach break without nudity you might want to consider anguilla by ferry, that is what i'm doing only 20 minutes away

I thought of this question today, so, The Fantasy is coming to the port. It will be there before our cruise yet the first sailing is March 31 or close to that date. Will it be docked at the main terminal bldg., and the Magic moved to terminal B at the port? Terminal B is where the Carnival Ecstacy is located when they are in port, it is farther east of Grille's restaurant. OR will the Fantasy be out when the Magic is in port? The same questions could be asked by Dream cruisers on their embarkation/debarkation days. (If we have to use Terminal B, there is parking right next to the Terminal for those who were planning to drive and park close to the Terminal.) The main Disney terminal really is a wonderful terminal to board in. I love the model of the ship. It would be a disappointment if we get pushed to the other Terminal, we would miss the Disney pluses. Kathy

Do you have more details? We would like to go to the beach, but one sans nudity. This sounds good to me.

I really like this idea! Do you buy ferry tickets in advance or just show up?

Ok, how about we post the ONE thing we are most looking forward to....
( I know there are much more then one ...) we can post multiple times...

Since its a new day, I'm posting again!

As I sit here staring at the snow falling (Finally, its winter in New England!) I am looking forward to sitting on a beach chair listening to the waves :beach:

Ok, I'll add another for today too......

Looking forward to:

...........booking another cruise on board! :lmao:

I heard the guy who was tending bar in the Promenade Lounge that day is still off on medical leave!

I guess I won't talk about the misunderstanding I had about the poop deck too ... geez, why couldn't they just say the BACK OF THE BOAT?
:guilty:

Yes for Anguilla you need to take a cab to ^Marigot french side then purchase your ticket for a partucular time. the ferry will take you to blowing point anguilla. from there you decide to go to shoal bay or rendezvous beach. Shoal bay is supposed to be spectacular, however i am going to rendezvous because it is closer, apparently just about as beautiful, has the coolest beach bar in the caribbean and i want to be closer to the ferry port so i can spend a little time in st. martin in the later part of the day

Again?! How did it work the first time?

We fly out on the 8th at 6:40pm. It's snowing here today too.

Looking forward to........

Getting up early, and enjoying a chai latte in the Cove Cafe,
watching the sun rise!
( while the rest of my family is sleeping):thumbsup2
