I will be boarding amtrak train from Niagara Falls New York all the way to Orlando early Thursday morning. I mean 3:40 am early. Then staying at the days inn cocoa beach so I can watch the sun set at the pier...I just hope these storms and tornados will pass, don't want to get caught in one of them on the train or at all for that matter

Oh no... it's happened. I'm now too excited to sleep! This happens every darn time!

This morning was Goofy's turn to call the boys. My 11 YO was giggling! So nice to hear him do that and not be mortified that's it's not cool anymore to be young at heart!

Then, the 5 YO said goodbye to Goofy as he was hanging up.

In a week, we'll be at sea. Our first full day!

Is anyone else staying at the Country Inn & Suites pre-cruise?

Luggage tags have arrived here too. I had to call DCL as they had only put us on bus transfers for after the cruise, nothing for from the airport to the port. Lucky I noticed, so now that is sorted out.
Whie on the phone I asked if anything had been added for the 18-21 year old crowd now that the 18yr old high schoolers are not allowed in the teen club. I was told no, but if enough of that age group request that things are organised for them something will probably be done... so i am hoping that there is a group of 18-21 year olds that want to meet up and do some things and ask for them ( not for me , I'm a bit older than that but for my son ).

Yup, that looks pretty neat, although not quite my cup of tea. I'm more DH will like to see it too. I haven't yet seen the rating for it.

Hi everyone!
1 week from today and we'll all be gathering for our cruise meet. So close!

Anyway, I'll be working on a little "get-to-know-you" scavenger hunt type of thing for the kids at the meet. If any of you would like to PM me with a little tidbit about their children, I can try to incorporate it into the game. Something like... their favourite character, their favourite disney ride, nickname, where you live, or any other little bit you might like to share - just one will be good.
We leave Thursday (the 8th), so by Wed, would be nice, and only if you'd like to, obviously.

Don't know why I can't find this, but I can't seem to. How many carryons can we take onboard? We have 3 carryons chuck-full. Now we have NO room at all for adult beverages. Does anyone know if we can manage an extra backpack or something?

We fly out of Buffalo at 7:15 am on Thursday too ... lol. We're staying at Country Inn & Suites for a couple of days

Aw! my husband is asking why we aren't on an earlier flight like you! We fly at around 5:30 pm with Jet blue

Well, my kids don't know about the cruise yet. We are taking them to disney on Friday where I'll slip Mickey some "cruise Tickets' & he'll invite them SURPRISE!

My daughter Isabelle rides horses, my son Marcus is in karate and desperately wants a motorcycle.

They love everything disney no real favourites.

My daughter Isabelle rides horses, my son Marcus is in karate and desperately wants a motorcycle.

They love everything disney no real favourites.

There is no limit to what you bring onboard with you -- the only determinate will be your (or DH & DS's) back strength. You just have to be able to carry everything on. So if one of your carry-ons is a wheeled suitcase, it's no problem to add a backpack (or two!) and rest it along the handle as you wheel it onboard.

The only hassle, of course, is navigating at your first meal onboard and waiting for the room -- but since there are three of you, there's that extra chair at the table anyway!

Where are you planning to pick up your supplies? On Friday we're hitting the Publix near the outlet mall at I-Drive.

Him yes we are going to try to make it, we are going to do the guided ship tour and will head over after that.

Isabelle is 7 & Marcus is 5,

I called the disney line & they said you are allowed two pieces of luggage per person plus carry ons if that info helps anyone!

How long will the meet last? Our plan lands at 1pm in Orlando then we have to take the Magical Express to the terminal, then go thru all that and board the ship? I really wanted to attend the meet....
