Nice they let her have her cruise before arresting her. If she showed up on the list, I'm surprised they didn't grab her before they set sail.

Why wouldn't they have checked this when they issued the passport? Seems to me like you wouldn't want to issue a passport to someone with outstanding warrants of any type?

In the OP's news video (link in Post #1), the reporter states that one better not have an outstanding unpaid traffic ticket.. . . I beleive there were some issues awhile ago in that Canada will refuse people entry, even for traffic tickets. Some passinger heading to the Wonder missed their cruises.
