Nightlights?? Is there a night light in the villa? Or do I need to carry one from home?

I would bring one. Because even if there has been one in a villa...the light could be burned out or it could have walked away. :) Sounds like you really need one if it is on your list. :) I would pack it. :) Or, you could leave it and just grab one at Walmart if they don't have one in the villa that works.

:thumbsup2

For sure!!! Universal was WONDERFUL to us. At Epcot, we might as well have been invisible. But.......I'm not an agressive person either. Had I flagged down an employee, it may have been better, but I could never see one anyways.

Same with us. Universal would hunt us down and drag us to rides and characters :). So for you future wish trippers, try to get a little visit in to Universal. Wish we had gotten 2 days in there instead of only 1. Epcot was good to us when we happened across characters, but that was about it.

By the way, for those of you wondering what the new La Ti Da Spa at GKTW is like, I've posted pictures in my wish report.

Thanks everyone for explaining. How wonderful that people are so kind. It is amazing how everyone is so friendly, welcoming and willing to share their stories. I am so glad I have found this dis board.

Isn't everyone amazing! I wish I had found this board sooner. The Big Give ladies/gents sound incredible!

Looking forward to the day when things become more settled again...

Wow, I knew nothing about the spa. My girls will love going there! Is it open only during the day or in the evenings also? Thanks for sharing the pictures! We are getting so excited! We leave in only 19 days!:scared1::yay:

That doesn't sound good! You guys ok? :confused3

Oh we are fine. Mya's school hasn't closed, but Aidan is in lockdown at Therapy to protect him and all other kids. He doesn't have it, nor do any of the others, but we all must be seperated. We have another four weeks of Therapy. Then one week of school, before Summer Begins. Then it's back to home therapys and swim lessons. All the time trying to find a job that actually pays me what I'm worth.

So much fun, I need a hot poker to take my eyes out with.

On top of that, I see all these great deals for Disney Trips and really want to go back!

Now i'm suppose to make what out of all these Lemons?

We will make it a short day unless they absolutely love Universal.

Quick break from studying to address Universal. It was WONDERFUL! Our big regret is that we wish we'd done 2 Universal days and 0 SeaWorld.

Universal was absolutely fabulous at treating us like royalty -- and I have the pics to prove it. :goodvibes

But the best thing about Universal had nothing to do with being a Wish family. It was, by far, the best place to "play" as a family. They have all kinds of extraordinary playgrounds, wet and dry. The Dr. Seuss one -- Marenna could have stayed there, all day. Her older siblings, too. Heck, I kicked off my shoes and joined in the fun. Some of my best memories come from there.

And the Woody rollercoaster! Perfect for Marenna (age almost-4), and fun enough for all of us.

Okay, I can't go into more detail without plunging into my trip report. Test tonight, tomorrow I can start trip-reporting again!

Thanks. I will keep that in mind. I know my kids would enjoy Sea World, but we have one in Texas. Therefore, we might choose to skip Sea World. I am glad to know how much fun Universal is! We are all getting so excited!:woohoo:

You have to make an appointment at the House of Hearts. They only staff it when there are appointments booked, so you need to plan ahead. But I'm sure they had it during the evening too.

I noticed on your blog where Aiden goes to feeding therapy. We also go there with Landon for feeding therapy. We are doing vital stem. We are going once a week. However, we missed the last two weeks due to illness and the therapist being on vacation. I am about to call to make our appointment for this week. However, if they are isolating everyone at our location then I might hold off until we get back from our trip. I don't want to miss our trip because of illness. Which location do you go to?

That is no fun. I understand they have had lots of sick people in Texas. I guess it is the flu and not some other virus going around?

I hope things get better very soon...on all fronts!!!

We are at the main location off of Swiss. It's not active here, they are just trying to protect everyone, or watching the News to much.:confused3

OK...as our trip gets closer I keep coming up with more and more questions!!!
I really don't want to follow a trip plan ....that is too structured for me!! (I am more of a fly by the seat of your pants kind of gal :rotfl:)
But do you recommend going to the left, right or straight to the back of the park as you enter the gates??:confused3

I don't think it really matters. You certainly won't need a trip plan because you have the button.

You might want to make a list though of the "must dos" for each person in the family so that you at least make sure you hit those.

We left "Great Movie Ride" until the end of the day at DHS and William really, really wanted to ride it and it was closed by the time we made our way over there. He still talks about missing that ride. Keeps telling his Mom that they HAVE to go back since he missed it.

So that would be the only thing...to make a list and sort of attack the park from the end so that you are able to accomplish most of what you would like.

I have to tell you about our experience on the Great Movie Ride..our middle DD Delaney has lots of special needs and stimulation issues...any way she got SO scared she threw up on that ride...didn't know it was so scary or we would have avoided it....it was actually the first thing we did that day...now we know to avoid it..

I second the "MUST DO" list. You can wing everything else, but oh boy don't miss anyone's #1 item!
