Main Entrance Question

So I'm heading out to Walt Disney World this Thursday and wanted to know how the main entrance thing works over there. I'm a cast member and was wondering that's its still the same thing. So what I'm saying is I can get myself and 3 others meaning a total of 4 including me into Disneyland. Can I get myself including 3 other guests (making 4) into the Florida Parks also? My main entrance pass say may admit up to 3 guests

You'll need to go to Guest Relations to obtain the correct Ticket Media for you and your 3 guests as everyone in your party will need the hard, plastic RFID tickets. It's a completely different ticket system that is used at WDW.

If you received one of the "new" MEP's (dark blue - should be RFID enabled but won't "read" in thee WDW system) and Guest Passes, you can just go to a touch-point entry (with that and your ID) and the GR@PE (Guest Relations @ Park Entry - GRAPES - They are in GR costume and standing right behind the touchpoints) can scan you and your guests in. Some DLR cast have the RFID enabled MEP's & Guest Passes and for whatever reason some do not.

Starting several months ago, DLR cast can scan at the GR@PE without going to Guest Relations windows. I haven't worked Main Entrance for about a month now (thank goodness) but that is the way it was the last time I worked. You can still get yourself and the # of guests listed on your MEP or the total of yourself and the number of Guest Passes you were issued.

Also, BE AWARE OF BLOCKOUT DATES for MEP usage. You can check the HUB for current blockout dates. They have been lifting some at MK the last couple of weeks and I "think" (haven't looked lately) all other parks have no blockout days for August.
