I just thought of a random, yet important question !

When we take our trip if will be myself, DH and our 2 girls. More family is also going, but I am just worrying about the 4 of us! So, how does FP work? Are they stored on wristbands? Are they person specific?

Maybe it will help if I am more specific with my thoughts....if we wanted FP for Rock n roller coaster and tower of terror, we would only need those for DH and myself. The girls would be with family when we went on the rides. So that would be 4 FPs. I *think* we can get 2 FP per day per person before the trip? If that is accurate could my family also get a FP for a different ride where we can all use it? Or would my husband and I have already used 2 so be unable to use another?

Hope this isn't too confusing.... I know when there were paper fast passes we could have made it work..just not so sure now.

I suggest you review the first post linked to in my signature below.

1. More family is also going, but I am just worrying about the 4 of us!

3. Are they stored on wristbands?

4. Are they person specific?

5. if we wanted FP for Rock n roller coaster and tower of terror, we would only need those for DH and myself.

6. The girls would be with family when we went on the rides.

7. So that would be 4 FPs. I *think* we can get 2 FP per day per person before the trip? If that is accurate

8. could my family also get a FP for a different ride where we can all use it?

9. Or would my husband and I have already used 2 so be unable to use another?

Since there are some very important issues specifically asked here, I'll addess each one (in addition to the fine info on mesaboy2's posts.)

1. You might want to CONSIDER the rest of the family in this, as you will not easily be able to join any of them on headliner rides if all of you don't have synced (at least similar) FP+ reservations.

2. Now THAT's a BIG question! ;)

3. No.
There is no reservation info, or ticket info, or credit card info,
or FP+ info "put onto" a MagicBand.

The MagicBands just contain (and weakly "transmit") a unique serial number that is used to access the information that is stored in your MyDisneyExperience computer file.

So, even if you were to lose a MagicBand, the info stays locked in your file.
Disney can just set up a new band (different serial number)
to access the info in your MDE file.
Disney can also issue ADDITIONAL MB's to a guest and each
additional band can be used for the same purposes as the first band.
So, yes, there can be multiple MB's per person, and each of them can be used by that person.

The MagicBand works like the combination to a locked safe, or a key to a locked door.

The MB, itself, is not the file of info or the container of the info.
The MB just unlocks the file of info, allowing it to be accessed from your MDE account when needed.

4. Yes.

5. True.

6. And, they COULD be riding a different attraction (FP+ or otherwise.)

7. You can (MUST) choose THREE advanced FP+ minimum per day, per person.

8. Yes. THREE FP+ per day, in advance, minimum.
Again, each guest is REQUIRED to choose THREE FP+ per day in advance
(or not get any advance FP+.) Three or nothing. Strange, but true.

9. THREE FP+ per day, in advance, minimum.
(Then, after you use (or let expire) those three, you can choose another FP+, day-of, then another... but that's getting a bit advanced. ;) )
