Magical Express When Arriving By Private Plane?

I have a friend who has never been to Disney World so I'm helping her plan her family's vacation. They are being flown into MCO on a private plane. Since it's not an airline with a flight number I'm curious what she will need to set up Magical Express transportation. The plane's tail number or will the flight plan have to be filed before she gives them the info? Or do you think if they know what time they'll land that it will be sufficient? I know she'll need to call but curious if anyone has done this.

A private plane but no limo? What's the point in that!

A private plane will not park at the main terminal, but at the general aviation terminal, which is a good ways away from the main terminal. They'd have to take a taxi from general aviation to get to the ME area....a nearly 7 mile ride since you have to go around the perimeter of the entire airfield. Might as well head to Disney in the cab at that point.

And they might fly a private plane into Orlando Executive or Sanford, since those airports have more facilities for private planes. No ME there, and they'd be taking a taxi to get in line for a bus if they went to MCO.

Thank you for that insight. That's the stuff she needs to know. I know some good car services. You wouldn't happen to know if any can pick up from general aviation area?

No personal experience in Orlando. But I bet any of the car services are familiar with getting people at the General Aviation terminals. There's a banner ad for FLTours.com on this thread right now, so I'd start there since they advertise on the Dis.

Whoever is chartering the private jet should have information on car services. If it is their own private jet then I'm sure they can figure it out.

It's a friend who is flying them. Thanks.

Yeah then that friend should know who to use who has access unless it is their first time flying into MCO as well. Most that are flying that way already have vendors they like to work with to ensure it is a smooth experience.

Well, she asked me for my help so I am trying to help her. And their friend, the pilot may have not flown into MCO previously. I have used car services dozens of times. Just not from General Aviation terminal. I can handle it. Thanks again.

Isn't Kissimmee airport an option?

Yes it is. I'm going to have them talk to the pilot. They flew commercial 2 years ago and their little girls got a kick out of the videos on the Magical Express bus. If it's going to be a hassle it will probably be better for them to fly into a smaller airport and reserve a car service.
