Magical Express to OKW

I'm trying to decide if we should use the ME to OKW for our trip in April. I have heard that it can be a very long process do to stops at multiple resorts. Has anyone used it to OKW before, about how long did it take? Would you do it again, or spend the $ on a car service?
Plus we will be flying Southwest so I have to check bags at the airport either way.

I haven't taken it to OKW, but I've taken it twice to BCV. Both times, BCV was the 3rd of 4 stops at resorts. But I thought the whole thing went pretty quickly anyway. Both times, I was at my resort 60-70 minutes after the plane landed, which I thought was great. (But I didn't have to claim luggage, which I realize you do need to do.) I loved saving the money compared with using a cab or towncar service. I'll gladly use it again when the opportunity arises. I'm driving down in Jan., so it won't be for that trip.

You check you bags at the airport, they appear in your room no matter what airline you fly on arrival. Yes, you have to check them in yourself on departure, no big deal really. I think it's with the DTD resort. I don't think there was anyone from OKW on it going to it last time we rode. We stopped at SSR, POFQ (our resort), then POR. On the way back I know we stopped at OKW. It was a blast from the past for us. It was our first resort stay.

I stayed at OKW in Dec 06 we were the first drop off and the last to be picked up.

I have taken ME many times to OKW. Most of the time it was the first or second stop. I never rent a car.

If you consider the amount of time that it takes to claim your luggage and stand in line to get a rental car I think that at Worst the times are comparable, most likely ME is better. And not having to deal with the luggage is a great perk.
We have taken ME several times and we will take it again in October.
We have rented a car, used a Town Car service and used ME. I feel that the ME service is great, and I would not spend the extra money on a Town Car service for the little bit of time I might gain.

We've used it several times to go to OKW and never had a problem. OKW was the 1st or 2nd stop each time. We rarely rent a car.

I love ME. We were always the first stop when going to OKW. It's much nicer to take ME even if it actually did take longer, which it doesn't. It just adds to the experience. You have the great video telling you all the new things going on & also cartoons that are meant for the little ones, but I think I enjoy more.

ME is all part of the Disney experience. I say sit back & relax & enjoy the ride & not having to claim luggage.

PS- One trip me & my best friend were on, we had a big snowstorm at home on our departure day. Due to that they would not let us check our luggage at the resort. All that happened was we waited for ME with our luggage, then got on, the driver put our luggage under then bus & then we arrived & checked in. It was real easy. Still more convenient & magical than taking the car service. Not to mention it's free! More money for shopping!
