How crowded is ME in the summer? We are arriving on 7/31...going to the Beach Club.
Flight comes into MCO at 4:20 PM.
About when should we get to the resort?

6/25 I sent DW ,DD and DM on Me so we didn't have to deal with baggage.

Myself and DsF took a rental down from touchdown to SSR was 55 min at 10:00am

They arrived about 5 min before we did but I checked them into ME and made sure they headed to the right bus.

Our room was ready we went over to DTD for a bit and when we came back our bags were in the room

We have used ME 3 times, most recently 2 weeks ago. Our flight from PHL arrived at MCO at 1:20 p.m. The line for ME check-in was VERY long, but it moved quickly. We arrived at OKW at around 2:30. Not bad at all and WDW was quite busy during our visit. The only downside with ME IMHO are the early pick-up times for morning flights.....ours was 3:20 a.m. for a 6:30 flight. But we flew free (vouchers from taking a bump last year). And ME is free and relatively convenient; you can't have everything! And we were first in line to check in with our luggage....we even beat the curbside check-in folks!

The average time has been running about 70 minutes, from deplaning to the resort check-in line. It could be a tad longer when arriving later in the afternoon though. My dh and dd arrived in MCO around 10:15 last May, took DME to POP (had only carryon bags), and got there by 11:10.
